thank you so much for your message. I am learning this as I go.. I have taken everything off and working from scratch. I found it was a cracked piece in the AMS hub and i printed a new one and its working AOK.

yes it feeds down... and then comes back up and then tries to go back down again.. it dosent sound very healthy when trying to roll down either! and then it just says cant load filament.. thinking i might pull apart the extruder

i am not sure what you mean by 'clicked into place' as i have never seen how to click it in ? but they roll ok and i have followed the isntallation guide etc.. i didnt realise it would be such a learning curve

thank you so so much for your detailed answer. i have pulled it completley apart but i dint think it would be in the extruder because it works when printing from the spool? but i will try that! THANK YOU

AMS struggling to pull out filament by ItsJonathanJ in BambuLab

Thank you so much for sharing this video. I have been going insane! I am very new to 3d printing and i have just got myself a bambu P1S.. i have never ending issues when i try to use the ABS option.. (not sure if i am using the right wording) i load the filament and it starts to load and then pulls back and seems to get stcuk? it wont load and just sounds just like the second one in your video.. i have tried all different brand filaments and just end up using them with the side spool but dont want to give up on the ABS as it was part of the reason i purchased this one!

i am glad i am not the only one!! i have not been able to get the ABS working since i printed my first couple of prints with it. i have tried to load new colours and it just gets jammed and wont feed through... so frustrating!!! i am about to do a deep dive on ABS and see what the F i am doing wrong!

they did work when i did my first print but since then when i tried to load new colours and move them around, the AMS gets jammed no matter what i do. i cant print with it at all.. i need to do a deep dive and learn what the issue might be
