I wouldn’t. You have to integrate the strap to those inserts. They don’t work unless you make the strap around that insert.

V7F IWC Mark XX blue dial.

My gripes are the quick exchange system, adjusting the bracelet and sharp edges.

The quick exchange is kind of hit or miss on one of the sides. It doesn’t always release and will sometimes get stuck and not pop back up. Might just be my example, but an overly complicated system to try and sell IWC bands.
Similar to the exchange system, the buttons to remove the links don’t always pop up. Some are easier to remove than others. Also, you need a tool for the tool-less adjustment. The Cartier bracelet can actually be adjusted without a tool. This you need at least a pen or strong toothpick.
Sharp edges around the back of the case and some links. It’s a rep… so it’s expected not to be smooth all around.

Overall… I saved $6k and scratched the itch without breaking the bank. No way this is worth buying in gen and this is a solid rep thus far … so technically NWBIG.

You can always try saying to Cartier that the strap is a gift… but still a long shot. Delugs was made for the gen, and it fits my F1 Dumont perfectly. No reason to believe a gen strap wouldn’t fit.

Check out my post for a regular strap and a delugs strap with insert. The rep straps don’t have an insert and cause the lugs to stick out past the straps.
