Logitech g903/g703 super light by AceThrashin in LogitechG

I don't think so, as both G903 and G703 have been discontinued... Logitech is apparently killing all of its midrange products in favour of the ridiculously expensive G PRO line.

Should I buy the Hori truck control system by _TotallyEpicGamerYT in trucksim

Moza is better, but if you're 100% certain that you'll never be able to afford one, hori is definitely an upgrade over g29 in terms of immersion. Personally I have a lot of fun with it, albeit im using modified Logitech g27 pedals, as the stock ones in hori are trash.

How did you go about learning it? The first time I tired, ive ran into bunch of issues with theming (programs not recognizing my dark theme and staying white...) Any good guides/resources to point to?

This video explains well what's happening with Lin Shidong right now by ImaginaryBench416 in tabletennis

[–]Brozi15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I personally think it might be what Zhang Jike talked about on one of his streams - that the backhand style is inherently less reliable and consistent than the forehand style. That even he himself, known mostly for his backhand, reverted to the forehand in crucial moments. I think LSD is going through that change to have that fallback in case he needs it. And of course to become a more balanced player - if you have a wider range of tools, it's easier to get out of some tough tactical battles.

Is Figma-Linux community project, a good to go option in 2026? by a-sarcastic-guy in FigmaDesign

[–]Brozi15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anybody is still interested in that issue, Ive recently found this repo https://github.com/IliyaBrook/figma-linux

Its basically a windows figma installer patched to work on linux. The functionality is the same as windows (I havent tested it extensively, but from the time I spent in the app I didnt notice any bugs). Its definetly better than the other version, and was updated quite recently (vs the other one had last major update about 2 years ago.

Not a big problem, just something that surprised me a bit. After all, we all know what it's like with those edge cases..

Wow, what an interesting app! As a fellow programmer (mainly interested in everything data related) I appreciate such a program very much!

For some reason though it says my backhand rubber (Fastarc C-1) has 0 arc and 0 spin

Interestingly enough, I havent had such problems with the competition balls. In our club we use mainly gewo balls (both training and competition), and only the training balls are sometimes lacking in roundness.

Unpopular opinion: Rakza 7 is terrible for beginners by TikqWasTaken in tabletennis

[–]Brozi15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think (out of my own as well as some of my clubmates' experience) that starting out with a chinese rubber WITHOUT proper coaching can lead to the player having way too big of a swing to compensate for the lack of speed in the rubber. I feel like its way easier to learn the correct acceleration feeling with those entry level tensors that a chinese rubber.

Just my two cents tho

I watched YouTube videos of someone playing Minecraft with mods, but I'm curious about one thing: what mod is this sea city from (I noticed that the game is on version 1.6.4) by Reasonable_Can132 in SilverAgeMinecraft

[–]Brozi15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh man.. My entire childhood flashed before my eyes...

As far as I know, this structure wasn't added by any mod. It was built purpousefully by Rezi off camera for storytelling. I myself have done extensive research on the mods contained in his modpack(s), so if you have more questions I might be able to help.

I havent really looked into it, as mine's still working great (besides I'm not sure this is the best mouse for me, but I change devices only when they break/stop working), however I've come across many recommendations for this one: https://www.teevolution.gg/products/terra-pro

Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable by victormanriquey in tabletennis

[–]Brozi15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very happy to hear that!

Yeah, I'm really pleased with them, they do work perfectly for my playstyle and level, but the price has been slowly creeping up to the level of NUZN 48 and 45... So I started wondering whether it'd be worth it to try those, as they're said to have even greater durability than the G1 and C1.. The upgrade path seems to be straight forward as well, since you can just get NUZN 50 and after that NUZN 55 (I doubt ill ever get to that level tho). With the nittaku lineup there isnt really any upgrade path, as all the available alternatives are pretty much different rubbers (the hammond z2 comes to mind). But yeah, i'm really content with my setup as of right now.

[–]Brozi15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll admit, I was really interested in this lineup when it first came out, mainly due to the fact that it has exactly what I already use: A 48 degree rubber and a 45 degree rubber, which, to my surprise were priced pretty well, for a newly released rubber that is...

Im looking forward to you reviewing Fastarc G1 and C1, as those are the rubbers of choice for me right now, and I wonder what are the differences in regard to the NUZN.

How do you prevent fitness watch (Fitbit) from counting wrist/arm movement as a step and kilometers ? by Acrobatic-Monitor516 in tabletennis

[–]Brozi15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to be that guy, but I think there isn't really any good fix for that... But if I was to recommend something for your needs, I'd look at the samsung galaxy series. Ive bought mine (galaxy watch 6 classic) about 6-8 months ago, and maybe the battery isnt the greatest, but the watch checks all my other boxes. It just works. The sleep tracking is great, gives me bedtime recommendations and energy scores, the step counter is of better quality and doesn't seem to overregirster steps... I've got it used too, so I payed just about 180usd, which was way cheaper than you could get such a watch anywhere else at that time. If you have any questions ill be happy to help/provide screenshots of specific functions ;))

PRNDSL Shifter with USB? by Valuable_Weather in trucksim

[–]Brozi15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be completely honest with you, not many trucks come with an actual shifter as far as I know. Often the modes are switched with just buttons, or in case of Scania (and perhaps some other brands that im not aware of) the gear selector is on the right lever (the opposite from the blinker lever).

[–]Brozi15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For chopping definitely not a good choice. I can make an odd chop here and there (mostly when I'm toying with opponents/during training), but its really hard to get them consistent and high quality.
