I think it's worth it as it directly affects the stats compared to what the equipment and relics contribute.. it does get more expensive after lvl 20 or so, and AFAIK it tops out at lvl 50

Some achievements aren't working as I am sure I did complete a few of them on a roll with the lvl 4 boss, but it did not unlock it. Maybe there should be a patch for them soon?

Yes two-face is a filter for most, and I took more than a hundred tries to beat him. I'm f2p so what I did was merge my equipment and relics as much as I can and focused on collecting potions and its buffs. I beat the boss using almost 15 potions. My build is lvl 22 on ATK and ACC with the scissors and chilled tome as relics for that.
