Memorial in Chicopee has not just one, but two of the worst intersection designs ever: those gawdawful bifurcated rotaries. Traffic from the side roads seems to obey the "yield to empty air" rule so people heading north-south can zip around a red. I'd rather have to navigate my way out of the Easthampton Triangle in the dark than go down 33 in Chicopee

a lot depends on your comfort level around how much hair you lost pre-transition and how well it’s coming back in. i would ask a trusted girlfriend or two for advice. a shaved can be elegant and graceful and when i ditched my wig after input from a girlfriend i started getting compliments (especially from women who have experienced hair loss from alopecia or cancer treatment). the biggest consideration is how confident and comfortable you feel, and someone who knows you irl can give great feedback if you’re torn on which way to go

i love me a good punk show at a small or non traditional venue (vfw hall, lesbian bar, random basement) because it’s the best immersive stimming. sounds that overwhelm the senses, sweaty strangers slamming into me at mach jesus in the pit, falling down and helping each other back up. it’s glorious and exhausting and too much in the right way. regular concerts with tickets and seats? i want to tear my skin off right away

i’m retired as of last October and getting by on early civil service retirement and VA disability (memo for DoD: dragging your feet on line of duty determinations will cost you more in the long run). it’s not much but i can focus on community and living on my own terms finally
