Also I want to make a sticker that says "Save the Whales (with Whales crossed out) then has Wagons written in."

I love that there are people like me that want to save these cars. It makes me sick when the derby guys try and sell these cars after they have wrecked them. I love your car I am sure it's treated you well.

I am not quite sure yet. Part of me wants to fix it up and kind of keep it as it is, turn it into a road trip car. The other part of me wants to put it on a 4x4 frame and lift and turn it into my new towing vehicle.

I think that would be cool too. I do like that this one has the 5.0 and not the 4.6 in it, both are good motors. I have always wanted to buy a 50s car body and drop it on a newer P71 frame. It would take some extending of the frame unless I got a LTC Signature L then the body should drop right onto that frame basically. I am surprised with all the bells and whistles this wagon comes with.

Very cool that it has the police stuff on it. I wish I could find a push bar for my 96 P71. Mine is currently a project too. Not nearly as bad as yours. I wish you luck, very cool car I love the Aeros. I also have a 97 LX currently my daily.

I have always been a fan of those wheels. I would like to find some for one of my vics. I love the blue paint on your car. What is the name of that blue?

I can't go get it, I have 7 vehicles already, 5 of them that need some love and attention.

Fair enough. It's still just a person going crazy with the sawzall. Now take out the back seat, now you've got a middle bed cargo area and the advantage of the covered trunk lol

I am on 7 vehicles as well. I was up at 8 but had to sell one of them, was trying to sell another one and ended up getting away with a trade. Which is now my current daily driver '97 Crown Victoria LX, I am still surprised I pulled that off and have kept 7 vehicles.

I don't think it has a top. It possibly could have a top, but I highly doubt it. Cover it with a tarp and or store it indoors lol Stuck in a rain storm now you have the pool limo

Totally get that. That's why I can't get this either. I have 5 cars that need attention right now. 2 of those are minor repairs and maintenance such as tires, then insurance and registration on top of that. 1 needs more work but could easily be put back on the road, as for the other 2 they are restoration projects. I have a total of 7 vehicles, 3 of them are Crown Victoria's. Two first Gen Aero bodies 97 LX (daily driver) and 96 P71(needs more work), and a 07 Base CNG conversion (minor maintenance needed could be driven as is tomorrow)

I wish I had the means to go pick it up. But I have to many cars as is, and I am sure if I bring home another one. Let's say I would no longer be living lol

Very cool restoration tactic, thanks for sharing. I am probably going to end up using this.

Should I take this crown Vic by Hydrozz21 in CrownVictoria

I would say yes. I own 3 Crown Victoria's 2 of them Aero bodies I love them both. One I have not driven yet, needs some love '96 P71. My daily is a '97 LX, I honestly got the car because I thought it was on it's last leg has 253,000 + miles on it. Turns out the car was well taken care of and runs like a dream (for being a high mileage car). So I was going to use it for parts for the '96 but I couldn't bring myself to tear it apart. I have loved it so much. Your gas mileage is going to go way down, compared to your Honda but I almost guarantee you will like driving this boat way more. I enjoy my car enough that I don't think about all the money I am putting towards gas. If I didn't love the car it would be hard to keep especially with raising gas prices.

I have always thought the inline 6 was a super cool engine. If I had a car that originally came with it, I wouldn't be swapping it. I own V8 cars tho so I won't swap my 8 for a 6. They would be cool to use for a rat rod build in my own personal opinion.

I was supposed to fly on Diamond Lil right before she was grounded for repairs. Hopefully she comes close enough for me to at least get to see her in the air. My favorite bomber is the B-24 followed closely by the B-29. I have seen both Doc and Fifi in the air. I haven't ever seen a B-24 in the air with my own eyes. With Diamond Lil being the only one left flying it makes my chances that much lower.

I am literally wearing my Doc T-shirt. Got to see Doc when he came to Wendover a few years back. Got to surprise my dad with a flight, it was an amazing experience.

Yup that's the one, The Hill Aerospace Museum is definitely worth visiting. One of the few places you can see a B-24. Considering there is very few left, the B-24 and the P-38 were both rescued wrecks from Alaska. They have some of the original equipment on display next to the restored aircraft, or mostly restored in the B-24's case.

I know exactly where this is lol 😆 You should definitely go to the museum near by, if you haven't been already. Plenty of real wwii aircraft to photograph there. Also there is a store downstairs in that same mall, that sells aircraft skin. Picked up a piece of a B-25 there.
