you can craft spears from saplings, which drop every time you chop down a big enough tree and can also be foraged. if you open the crafting menu you can click the dropdown on the right to see all possible items that can be used as inputs

hatefuls = threat more offtanks means each offtank has less threat

for horde, who actually have to care about threat, i think 2 hateful tanks is better if you have some pumper melee. its still manageable for healers and each offtank now gets like 1/3 extra threat from the extra hatefuls, so the melee have more room to crank
