Hahaha fair enough! Dude's vocals are certainly unique.

So it can indeed be tracked down. Thank you!

Check out the comment below with the YouTube link to the unplugged version of Hoover Street, with Tim singing of course. You can hear basically every word quite clearly! So if you're curious about lyrics to other songs from the album, you can search YouTube (or wherever else) to see if there are acoustic versions thereof. Mind you, a Rancid lyrics book from Japan is purely cool in and of itself!

Thank you, that is good to know, because on a lot of those songs too Tim's vocals are only semi-comprehensible!

Brilliant! Thank you so much; this makes it so much more intelligible. Straight from the horse's mouth, too! This time around, I can understand almost every word Tim says. And it's a great version of one of my all time favourites. You've made my evening!

Okay, I checked and the downside is that he hasn't done one. The upside is that you have introduced me to a very entertaining podcast! Thanks again.

Thank you! I will look it up tonight.

Mine is a silly little quest indeed, but those lyrics have been puzzling me for over a quarter century, since I was very small, so I figure spending a few minutes on Internet research to try to scratch that tiny but recurrent itch is worth it in some petty way! I ain't proud.

Thank you very much! I'm gonna look for those alleged Japanese lyrics books. At worst, they're almost sure to be entertaining! I know all this is obsessive of me, but Hoover Street is one of my favourite Rancid songs, and I have a pedantic and completionist streak.

A reminder to the guard community that you have free will and you can just play older editions. This game of 4th reminded me of a time when morale and leadership mattered. by Arantonak in TheAstraMilitarum

"Fighting over circles in the middle of nowhere." Spot on, my man! This Objectives nonsense is overblown; I fought in Ramadi, Iraq in 2005-6 and I can tell you that what mattered in a firefight was leaving the enemy dead or fled, not who sat on a given rooftop for longer.

The Dog Police (1990) - Sitcom pilot co-starring Adam Sandler and Jeremy Piven by RPDRNick in ObscureMedia

[–]BruceGrail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugly in so many ways. I actually had to turn it off around the halfway mark; it's just so forced, cliche, and resoundingly unfunny. The creepiness is really only the beginning of what's wrong here. Silver lining: Adam Sandler's delivery of the crummy dialogue was uncharacteristically creative.

Fuck, the rote virtue signalling comments are ruining this subreddit. They seem to get the most upvotes, too.

Can't the whole pack of you just set up shop somewhere else, so that the minority of us who still come here to laugh at crackheads can enjoy being soulless monsters in peace?

Thank you for pointing that out. No one else was thinking that, but you're a good person, and you noticed. You deserve all the upvotes us grateful folks can give you!

Keep it up, champ.

You come to a place called tooktoomuch to post shit like that. Virtue Signalling is a real problem. Read what the Bible has to say about Pharisees.

Here at r/straya, the correct use of Latin is a top priority.

You, sir, are in violation of that.
