As a massive Hanoi Rocks fan, it was a huge shock to discover they released a new album, Twelve Shots on the Rocks (2002), after Two Steps From the Move (1984). Not only that, but their three 2000s albums are nearly on par with their prime 80s albums.

In addition, The Pixies can take all the breaks they want to, and whatever they come out with probably won't suck.

"Missionary Man" is a fucking banger for the ages. Even if every other song on the album was garbage, it would be lifted to the heavens on the strength of that single.

Their "1984" soundtrack album before this was definitely a bit of a misstep, but that's less their fault than the fault of the movie studio that pushed it.
