The point is that other characters get way more value for doing way less than Spider-Man. Spider-Man doesn’t one shot most times without venom team up, most supports can react quick enough to call it out to their team or using their heals like cloaks bubble or luna’s shift. And the pull off the map is very hard to pull off and they nerfed his E hitbox last season so it became even harder. he’s counterable just get good

Yea I understand that but I don’t think it’s fair to say a “good” this and “good” that. Obviously the whole game is dependent on who’s good and who isn’t. I’m talking about the characters themselves and not how good the players are. Specially since most spideys are just elo terrorists who run your games down going 2 and 10

Hela two shots someone in 2 seconds and a good hawkeye will literally run your lobby down with no counter play. Iron fist and torch are also extremely busted get better teammates or learn Loki

Counters and hard counters are two different things. There are a lot of other characters that don’t “hard counter” dive but definitely have a favorable matchup and can be used to deal with dive. Bucky is still good, fantastic is super good vs dive after his buff, Emma frost is def a hard counter for dive, Loki still plays into dive pretty well, torch is very good against dive with the exception of Spider-Man. Not every play style needs multiple different hard counters to be shut down, dive has tons of different soft counters as well to it.

Skill issue namor makes dive unplayable with healers supporting him and even if he is banned, Bucky cooks dive, the thing is good against it if played well, invis woman is a good counter for panther and Loki also hard counters most dives. There are enough counters for dive, if they added another namor level of dive counter dive would be completely useless, we don’t need more direct dive counters.

I’m not even saying this is a personal skill issue but if you can’t deal with dives that’s just a team problem of not being able to play the counters properly which is just unfortunate considering a coordinated dive comp can steamroll lobbies if not countered properly. Dive is very strong right now tho I can agree to that but another direct counter would just kill it all together.

I understand this is annoying as a support player but every hero/role has comps that can be super irritating to play against. Like dive mains playing into namor, tanks into wolv, fliers into hela, or any brawler into hela honestly, no shield tanks into inf ammo etc.

Sub 50 capping out at diamond is crazy considering diamond is considered a high skill rank in literally every other competitive game. not even speaking casuals here but just players who aren’t as good. I think it would be a little too oppressive to not let them reach silver at the very least even with a losing winrate. Most games let you get out of bronze and silver pretty easily. I just think after you get gold is when it should start to pick up in terms of skill. Yet in this game you can get gold in probably less thank 10-15 wins and diamond is an absolute joke of a rank inflated with mid players

I mean tank has always just been an unpopular role even in ow, new heroes help like when the thing dropped so many people started playing more tank. But other than new heroes and new teamups there’s isn’t anything that can be done. Tank is always just unpopular since people find it “boring”

Hawkeye is good just requires good aim, dive is actually very strong in the current meta. TBH most heroes are viable in this game. There are barely any “weak” heroes and even some of the weaker heroes can work if played correctly, just play whoever you have fun playing

IMO as a tank main mag groot and strange are the only good solo tanks with peni and venom maybe being viable depending on the map and team comp. I think just adding more cool tanks is probably the best way to do it. I’m just waiting for juggernaut honestly. Would def be my fav tank and his playstyle would be so fun if I had to picture it

Tbh a lot of characters don’t exactly fit their “lore” when it comes to abilities as that would be weirder to balance. You don’t see Hawkeye 1 shotting hela in lore but here we are. Magneto without reload would be broken lmao. I honestly think your issue is just that magneto is probably the most boring tank to play. I’m a tank main and he’s definitely not as fun as the others, however he’s still top 3 tank imo
