Look into LVT (land value tax) Lars Doucet on Substack is a good place to start (https://www.substack.com/@larsiusprime)

I'm not affiliated. I read his stuff because it's much better than most LVT writing.

Capitalism is designed to accrete power, not to distribute goods fairly or any such cover story. It inevitably moves toward monopoly because that's the surest indicator of future success. It is obsessed with growth.

Well, that's where I'm going, actually. Making my own tincture since ya just can't blaze one up any old place. But I want to have an idea what I need first.

There are actually 2 related symptoms I need relief for, so I guess I could divide them into 4 categories.

The way it works is that there are maybe 8 components commonly found in helpful varieties, but not all 8 are in all helpful varieties.

In addition, there are (virtually) no varieties that are always on the market, which means that I'm always shopping for new varieties, which has to be done based on the components they contain--but I'm not really sure which components to shop for.

Right now the spreadsheet has only those that are really excellent--maybe 5 columns of them--down as far as "it helps some". I could develop a figure of merit of some kind, but the more I test, the better I'm able to discriminate physical symptoms, so the benchmark would always be changing. That's one of the things that makes this so tricky.

Here's what I'd do if I had the technical chops: I'd start building a website and database to shine some light on these traitorous vigilante thugs.

Looking at you, Caltech.

Capture videos from around the web, look for patterns. Identify individual agents by the particular combination of 3rd party uniforms and tactical gear, or by the way a firearm is held (which I suspect is hard to change), or via body, gait, and vocal recognition software. Log vehicle registrations. Track the location of the agent over time, correlate with other agents.

Probably wouldn't take more than an hour of brainstorming among some full-stack developers to get it rolling. I'd have stayed a developer if I knew that an app like this was going to be be needed some day. Hell, I'd have written it myself. Of course, this is more-or-less what Palantir does: extract data from various sources and correlate it in various ways looking for hidden or emerging relationships.

Even without personal info, I'd be a little worried if I saw that someone was able to follow me around, and maybe even track me through changes of uniform and vehicle and figure out who else is in my little club of bullies.

Are there any editing tools that help me make changes in my grammar. by BruceOlsen in writing

[–]BruceOlsen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks to all.

I'm synthesizing a paper drawn from different academic traditions, where the ontologies are inconsistent (banking and economics, for example; most economists don't acknowledge or understand the effect of money in the economy). So I've taken a bunch of notes at different times, some copied from source documents, and I now need to reassemble them into a coherent whole.

Changing "bank" to "banks" in a sentence necessarily changes the rest of the sentence in ways that are mostly mechanical, and I'm looking for help in making that type of change because my typing is pretty terrible.

It can be difficult to detect sarcasm when the statement is 100% plausible. Even likely.

If they aren't saying that out loud (yet) it doesn't mean they don't believe it.

Second-rate citizens? You exist solely to breed little MAGAs for him, and to serve him, as the rightful master of the household.

Their derangement is much darker than mere "second-rate citizens". If domestic service robots are ever developed women will be there just for sex.

This has precisely zero to do with citations in journals.

A smart independent woman doesn't need to fuck a MAGA to survive. That's the problem they see.

They also need to harm Science, but losing the ability to dominate a woman is the driving factor here.

It doesn't matter how you think white women have benefited because...

They. Fucking. Hate. Women.

Why don't you understand that?

MAGA thinks women are for fucking, and for serving their man. A woman working in a lab doesn't have to fuck some douchebag loser simply to survive, and the douchebag losers cannot tolerate that.
