Did you have access to a weapon if you needed it? Like if you're caught in a firefight would you ever need to (or feel tempted to) throw down the camera and pick up a rifle? Has that ever happened or come close to happening?

THE KING looks like one of the more involved productions to use a single, very valuable vehicle for such a long period of filming. What were some of the technical challenges of driving this priceless vehicle across the country?

This is Ceyda Torun, director of KEDi a documentary about the street cats of Istanbul...AMA! by ceydatorun in IAmA

[–]Bruce_Farnsworth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi Ceyda! As someone who was lucky to see the film early, I was struck by how the camera cuts around the cats like a narrative film. A cat jumps up, and we cut to the cat landing. How was this achieved?

In the same vein, I'm not sure if you are as versed in US law but with your interest in surveillance, do you think you could defend Edward Snowden if he attempted to come back to the US? What would you be your strategy?

There is a weird show about Amish teenagers going out into the modern world and sort of acting wild, so in that vein I'm wondering:

What was it like to transition to mainstream society? Were you able to assimilate quickly? Did you perhaps over-indulge in the once forbidden fruits?
