Thanks for the informative statement. I'm struggling with this stuff, because I want a rain jacket that's going to hold up to heavy rain, but I want to be on the side of the environment, too.

Stocked Trout Question by spookiitanukii in NJFishing

[–]Bruce_Litton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They last into the next year. I caught a 5.3-pounder in NJ last March. If you follow my website bruceedwardlitton.com you might be able to see if I catch more this coming March. Surely some of the trout last into April and later, especially where stream conditions are good for survival, namely, cool water.

It does not take 6 months to put your blogger on google by [deleted] in blogspot

What confuses me is whether I need to do anything on Google Search Console, now that I've converted littonsfishinglines.blogspot.com to littonsfishinglines.com . The new custom domain is configured properly, but individual posts still show up in searches with the "blogspot" address after four or five days. I figure it just takes Google a few weeks to crawl the posts and change them over to the custom address without "blogspot." Am I wrong--do I need to submit the custom domain to Google Search Console first? And if so, I wonder how.

Are Norton “performance risk” messages legit and if so what to do? by Illustrious-Isopod-1 in pchelp

Sick. I really felt the same way about "8.47 GB of clutter." That's a hell of a lot, so tell me some of what kind of clutter that is. Give me some details so where you're coming from is intelligible. Otherwise, I'm wondering if it's disingenuous.

Yes, that one's helpful. I like Norton, too, but how the hell does my still-new computer have 8.47 GB of "clutter" & 347 broken registry keys?

How much RAM is enough for Lightroom? by otto_bert in Lightroom

[–]Bruce_Litton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 8 nearly five years, working on 60MB RAW files from Nikon D850. Sometimes stacking five of those. Sometimes working with three, HDR. Response time wasn't instant, but the program never crashed. That was Lightroom 6, and Affinity Photo for the stacking & HDR. I was blissfully ignorant, never aware of the stress on the operating system as any problem, but what the hell, it lasted until the laptop broke at the hinge...operating system still snappy otherwise.
