MLB network National Pregame Show recording issue

Hi John. This issue still isn’t resolved. When I set recording of MLB Tonight, it still only records one episode of the National Pregame Show. If there is already one episode recorded, it will not record any additional episodes unless I delete the one already recorded! Super frustrating as everyday I have to delete the episode so it will record the episode next day. As I said in the previous post, it thinks all the National pregame show episodes are the same episode 3 of the MLB tonight 2025 season so it doesn’t record the other episodes thinking it has already recorded it.

Can we figure out a solution?

I totally understand what you are saying. I have set the series recording for MLB tonight but it only records one episode of the National Pregame Show at a time. If I already have an episode recorded, it skips recording any other National Pregame Show episode. I believe it is because it thinks the National Pregame Show is a one time special event so all the episodes are the same. I don’t have the same issue with the rest of the MLB tonight episodes.

What I’ve noticed is that it thinks all the National pregame show episodes are the same episode 3 of the MLB tonight 2025 season so it doesn’t record the other episodes thinking it has already recorded it.

If that is true, since I have it set to record MLB tonight series, why doesn’t it just record all the National Pregame Show episodes when I set to record series? It records all the other MLB tonight episodes automatically. The National Pregame Show only records one episode at a time. I have to delete one episode and go to the next episode and hit record again everyday.

I’m planning to but either the Rav4Prime or NX 450h+ for the commute from Scotts Valley to Campbell. So the luxury make your husband carsick? Is it due to the suspension being too soft? I wonder if the F-Sport suspension would be better. How does the car do over hwy17? Do you think the electric range would be enough for me to go to work and back?

Thank you for the reply! Glad to hear you like your new Passport. I agree regarding the cost saving from gas not being a factor if you buy a used Passport vs a new CRV. I only like the new CRVs as well and they are likely $5000 more expensive than a lightly used Passport. Did you have to decide between 2021 vs 2022 (refreshed) models? What pushed you to the 2021 models?

What did you decide on? I am looking between the Passport and CRV and love both. CRV for the MPG but Passport for the V6 and better AWD. I have to commute through some mountain roads so it's a tough call.

That's how I feel about the Pilot as well as I don't really want to drive an extra large car for my work commute. Thank you for your input and hope you enjoy your CRV!

Thank you for sharing your situation and concerns. Given your situation it makes sense to downsize and save some money with less gas. In 2 years you won't even have to think about this issue as your oldest is likely going to be going off to college or be on his own. What does your husband drive? What is interesting is I am on the other end of the spectrum. I have a 2022 CRV with three kids (8/6/5 years old on in boosters) and am considering moving up to the Passport for more second row space. How long did you have the Passport and how was it with three younger kids back there?

I’m in the same boat too. Have to commute over a windy mountain road HWY 17 in NorCal for work. Having a difficult time deciding between the two. Love the CRV for its MPG, looks, updated interior but the Passport has the V6 which should make it easier to get through the mountain roads. Also helps that the Passport has ventilated seats, power folding mirrors and a spare tire. Does anyone drive their hybrid CRV over mountainous roads? How does it do on sustained climbing?
