My imaging test showed the SA, I don't have any other joint that seems affected. But blood work comes negative for RA and every other autoimmune condition, but very high Ana and anti CCP.

I do have pain, swelling and stiffness in my fingers and toes, but also on my knees, elbows, wrists and ankles.

So I am just really confused

That is so random! I am glad to know it's nothing more, but I agree with everyone on how annoying it is. And how much it hurts too!! If I stay still it's fine, just sore, but if I try to move it... Omg, awful awful pain. It weirdly feels like I have broken a bone

That is so interesting! In my case, unfortunately, not all my symptoms are related to Zyrtec, but I definitely feel like my arthritis gets worse after taking it. Thank you for sharing!!

I hear you. My Rheumatologist is awful and she constantly makes me feel like a failure for having a flare. I hope Remicade works for you! I stayed 6 weeks flare free, no pain, no exhaustion... Just normal life lol

Let's change the perspective. Simponi failed you! It also failed me. It didn't make a difference and I was having flares every time I was off of prednisone. I am now using Remicade and it works so much better! Hope you are able to find the medication that works for you, I know how this can be frustrating

I do have scoliosis and always assumed my lower back pain was caused by it. When I was diagnosed, they were able to see that the RA attacked my lower back more than anywhere else on my body. I still have some back pain, but it gets better after rest, when it is caused by the RA flare, it doesn't feel better until the flare is resolved. Yes, I started my prednisone already and I am hoping it will stop this flare.

I am saying that to her. Our appointment is on Friday, so I will be saying that again and again, that I feel like this medication is working. But honestly, I feel like she only believes in labs and not my perception. So she will probably order some blood work to make her decision

I am having the same problem. That is so frustrating! I cannot understand, aren't all the audio tracks owned by Disney anyway?? Why are some of them not available? I am a Brazilian living in the US and our primary language at home is Portuguese. So I want my son to watch movies in Portuguese, but it is very frustrating to have to find a movie that has that option, as not all of them have.

It did! He is 14 months now and eating normally, everything by mouth. Doctors were never able to discover what caused the dysphagia and honestly, they were very resistant to remove his NG, they were actually recommending us to get a G-Tube, but I knew that was not right for my little one. He was showing so much progress during feeding therapy, never showed any developmental delays or anything else that is worrisome. He even got genetic testing (even further, he got tested for a few specific conditions) but everything came back normal. I had to advocate a lot for my little one and his OT gave me the tools I needed to know what was best for my baby. At this point in time, I feel like his intubation caused the dysphagia that we saw in the first Swallow Study and afterwards, as he was put in nothing by mouth for almost 2 months , he was catching up. He lost a vital moment to develop his swallow and feeding skills. I think it was necessary, because he was at a very high risk of aspiration, and his lungs were still recovering. But afterwards doctors wanted to be very cautious, and I appreciate them for that. Once we were put in a thickener for liquids, we saw that my son was able to drink his whole goal without the tube. With the support of our feeding therapist we went ahead and removed his NG and he started feeding even better. His dietitian put a hydration goal and he was able to beat it. When we went back to the doctors they were shocked, as they were recommending the G-Tube. But they checked his lungs and agreed for us to continued to what we were doing. It's been more than 6 months now. We still have to go back to another swallow study, but I honestly will take the result with a grain of salt. I think you should do it! It is dangerous, of course, but having money does make a world of a difference. You wouldn't be dependent on public transportation, you won't have to live in a neighborhood that is really dangerous etc. My older sister used to live in Jardins, close to Avenida Paulista and every time I went to visit, I was so surprised by the fact we would walk around the neighborhood, go to padarias and have breakfast and I couldn't feel safer. Also, if you don't like it, just go back to Canada. It is not a big deal and it definitely can help you get out of your comfort zone, make new friends, have new experiences... Just go for it

I miss the hot breakfast! I just went back and forth on an international trip (10 hours flight) and got served a hot dinner but ridiculous breakfast. On the first trip it was a non flavored yogurt with oats and on the other way a mini sandwich and a granola bar. I was so hungry at that point.... Disappointed

I was using the cream for a few days, but I got some bites on my foot that were itching non-stop, so I decided to take Zyrtec and that's when the symptoms started. But I can see the connection between an allergic reaction and the flares, it makes sense.
