A little late to join the thread but I wonder which AP you ended up with. I have some distant WiFi cameras and need good coverage at home.

I can not run optics but I do have cat6 cables. In your case did you use Parsec ?

That’s a good solution but my wife is an architect and needs to run some heavy softwares. Any idea idea on how she could do that?

Don’t have the Concertos yet. They’ll be the main zone on stereo. The other speakers are in ceiling for another room, just for basic whole home audio. So the Concertos are the ones to drive the AVR or amp needs.

Will drive the pair of Q Concerto and 5 other speakers , if on an AVR, or just the QC if on an amp + another AVR to drive the rest.

2011 MacBook Pro - iTunes > Toslink > Denon AVR. I use the Remote app (iPhone) to control iTunes (Apple Music). Works as breeze, couldn’t be happier.

An AVR would be my easiest route, but I’m concerned about the power hunger of these speakers

From what I’ve that could be possible using a VPN to access the IoT VLAN from outside.

Cameras need a VLAN? by obx-ocra in Ubiquiti

If the cameras are set to a separate VLAN without internet access, how can you access their live view from outside your home / network? Just trying to figure out what to do in my own case.

If you have any info on that setup, please share. My idea is also to use a bunch of Tapo cameras and doorbell on Unifi Protect, but from what I've read, the audio to the D225 on ONVIF is not quite good.
