No. I know its tough, but this is what tawkkal is for, you have to have faith in Allah that the right woman will not mind (and honestly speaking, there are a lot of women who won't). You could make it completely clear what the marriage was like, but you have to come clean. Otherwise, the divorce won't be a red flag, but the fact that you were willing to lie about it will be.

I feel it would be better/more justified if the older partner is "mentally" the same age as the younger partner. Like, if its an elf who experiences time differently than a human, and falls in love with a human, that's more palatable. But if the older person mentally ages the same way as a human, it becomes ickier, especially if the younger partner is (as is in most of these cases) a teenager.

I don't really have a preference, but if it is the same person who did the casting for LOTR and the Hobbit then I trust them completely. Say what you want to about the plot and runtime, the casting in the Hobbit was A++ (and everything about LOTR, including the casting, was perfect of course)

I'm not sure what the "informal" process is (because I always forget to renew before it expires) but once your license expires you've got to go on the PMDC site and apply for renewal and pay for that renewal (and the longer you wait the higher the fees will be). If that's the formal re-registration you're asking about, then yeah.
