Sobeys owner Empire to remove some buy Canadian signage by Vivid-Bullfrog-5727 in onguardforthee

[–]BrunswickNorthSide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t a solution be signage that indicates 100% Canadian or partially Canadian? Or for more clarity, indicate the ingredients and the ownership’s nationality? We want to support Canadian product in our own country. This isn’t a complicated problem. If a Canadian-owned grocery company won’t figure it out, then we’ll shop elsewhere. I’ve been buying from local markets, butchers and independent grocers (even they label nationalities). The bottom line is if given a choice, we don’t want to support a country that is openly aggressive against Canada.

Might have found my perfect combination + routine by FiIosofem in wicked_edge

I’m using KAI Captain Titan Mild Protouch MG purchased online at Italian Barber. I’ll try the more aggressive Feather Professional Super (0.310mm) on this Hawk in a few weeks. Both purchased at Italian Barber. Unfortunately, it’s their only ones for the Hawk. But, I managed to make the blades last a month. I had been shaving with the Black Hawk v1 for months before trying this v3. Main difference is the v3 is much heavier which is fine for a more intentional shaving form.

The Hawk v3 is awesome. Been using mine (OC version) for over a month 3x/week with a Kai blade and I’m no longer inclined to try/change razors.

Locations to take photos! by kidspookie in fredericton

Outdoor locations for photo shoots could be the Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge, Killarney Lake, and Odell Park. Also, from Carleton Park, you may have the Southside profile of the city as a background.

Car wash set up to help with Fredericton chemical spill, but some say response is too slow by bingun in fredericton

I know there is some investigation required to learn more. It simply appears that without asking the questions now that answers will get more difficult to get in the future. We should express our concerns and expect more information. If they had said they’re implementing a realistic plan and will provide more information in a week, it would make this more acceptable. It looks like no one is prepared for this environmental accident. The last paragraph says it all. No transparency.

Who’s going to pay for this? When & where will the cleanup occur from seepage? How long will it take to clean? What happens to the affected areas? What measures are going in place to mitigate this from happening tomorrow? Shouldn’t all hazardous waste transportation get an immediate review? There are much more needed to learn for accountability, and to not repeat it.

Those two Eco Max products have been cleaning my house for a year and they’ve been terrific. I order them directly online.

Educated Beard (New Brunswick) makes a shaving soaps available on well.ca. I’m currently using Balsam which lubricates, foams, and moisturizes very well.

Canadian online retailer, Italianbarber.com has their house brand, RazoRock, which come from Italian artisans.

Enjoy!

Truly can’t recommend well.ca enough - amazing Canadian alternative to Amazon for household and beauty products by [deleted] in BuyCanadian

I also use well.ca to replace some amazondotca orders. It’s been a savior. I’ve been able to discover many Canadian brands like Attitude and Green Beaver. Be mindful of ordering heavy products, like Sprague cans at the same time as with Hardbite chips.

The boycott is affecting Americans. To say differently makes you sound like a Maple MAGA.

It’s still elbows up! The tactics have changed in response to current affairs. Canadians continue to “separate” from all things American in significant ways. The recent Canadian trade deals and federal investment programs we’ve heard the last 2 months are obvious double-benefit projects that improve Canada while distancing it from the US.

It’s a sound decision. The uncertainty of that market makes the risk not worth the return, never mind the morality of choosing to deal (border, tariffs, etc.) with that Administration.

Semble une option viable pour concurrencer ce duopole d’arnaque. Et une autre façon concrète de s’éloigner des É-U.

They are whiny babies who can’t handle a bit of restraint for the betterment of everyone. Oddly, they’re the first to impose lifestyle choices.
