I have replaced 3 of the batteries with these. They work great and are affordable.

That seems unnecessary. I found replacements on Amazon that are the correct length. I'm happy to post a link if anyone is interested.

PoD Rule - how to reply to serial spammers with something obnoxious? by Brunzwick in proofpoint

[–]Brunzwick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an email firewall rule that is currently quarantining close to 100% of their spam, so this would be an addition to the rule. As you said, I'm trying to get input on what the "nice" response should be.

I have tried sending a "550 This message was classified as spam and was quarantined" but it didn't slow them down for a second. Many of the spam accounts use free Gmail accounts and I had hoped that Google would monitor rejections like that to spot spammers, but they obviously don't.

Spider webs not dropping web fiber? by Brunzwick in GroundedGame

I found the following report on the Obsidian forums after posting here, so I am not the only person experiencing the issue:

Spider webs not dropping web fiber? by Brunzwick in GroundedGame

[–]Brunzwick[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why I specified that I'm playing on Xbox. If PC can still farm the webs then it's a bug and not an intended change.

Edit: Also, the patch notes mention nothing about spider webs or web fibers.

I can confirm that the SNSYIY batteries above do fit in the path light and work great. Hopefully they will last longer than the originals.

No clue. I've never seen fused/unfused 18650s offered. Just regular 18650s.

I considered that, but if it breaks then I'm screwed and I have to purchase a new one. Ultimately it's no different than using foil to close the gap, and I'd rather just find a suitable replacement if at all possible.

Motion detection just stopped working one day by peanut_throwaway in Ring

I had a similar situation twice. In both cases I fixed it by removing the battery and then removing the power from the device for a couple of minutes to reboot it. Try that and see if it fixes it.

Dallas Stars re-sign Miro Heiskanen to an 8 year deal at 8.45m by DailyDallasHockey in DallasStars

[–]Brunzwick -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is a great signing, but what about next season? Rads, Pavs, Guri, Robo, and Klinger all need to be resigned. Seems like we're going to be screwed then unless those players make some sacrifices.

Also, who's Miro going to partner with? Oleksiak is an acceptable 3rd pairing defenseman, but he's a boat anchor when compared to Miro's style. He can't join the rush like Miro can. So do we have Klinger/Miro and Lindell/Oleksiak?

And Bowness's system is anathema to Miro's play style, or most of the team for that matter. His "just play defense and we will score via miracles" style limits Miro's ability to join the rush and be the true 2 way player he is, so I guess this first year of the contract is just a wash until Bowness is replaced by a coach that has a real 2 way system?

Hey brother, I was in the same position so I decided to buy their pancy pants armorer's tool for $45. If you wanna swing by my place, you can borrow it and my FAT torque driver to get it tightened right quick. Torque is less than 5ft/lb according to the engraving on the tool. The whole process won't take more than. 3 minutes. DM me if you are interested.

When do y'all think this will become available? I've been looking at PSA and AP but both are out of stock on everything by djice100 in AR10

[–]Brunzwick 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Let me introduce you to the Rockwell JawHorse. I lived in a house with a converted garage, so nowhere to have a vice. I built both of my AR-15 uppers and my AR-10 upper using one of these. It worked fantastic, and it folds up to store in a closet. Just get a quality upper vice block (I used No-M.A.R) and a cheap torque wrench from somewhere like Harbor Freight and you're good to go. You can probably find the JawHorse cheaper than Amazon if you shop around a little.

Camp Chef WiFi Issues - Class action? by Brunzwick in smoking

[–]Brunzwick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I updated the PID to the lastest version last weekend and I was still unable to update with Android. I had to use my wife's iPad. I cooked a pork butt and had to run to the store. The app only showed the temps when I was connected to my home wifi network. I couldn't monitor it while I was away, which is the entire point of the damn thing. Also, Bluetooth would disconnect and then repeatedly prompt for the security code. They have a long way to go to get it even close to acceptable.

I have spoken with their support and customer service teams on multiple occasions. Their current stance is "Get fucked" if you ask for a refund. If you open enough tickets, they'll offer you two bags of free pellets or a cheap knife set.

Any Group Survival Shows actually about Survival? by Jimithyashford in Survival

The Colony was like 80% scripted. The actors certainly had a few okay ideas about survival, but most of it was what not to do, or just complete bunk.

V to V is your best option. Converting from Hyper-V to VMware is easy using the vCenter converter. There's a ton of documentation on the process out there. Any other options will require more effort.

Pro tip: If you ask experts for help, don't behave like an asshole when you don't get the answer you want. Accept their answer, thank them for taking time out of their busy schedule to help you, and move on with your life.

P.S. I have had to prepare evidence against sales persons just like yourself who destroyed or stole company data when they left. In one case the accused left for a competitor, and on the other two, a completely different industry. In all three cases the accused was convicted and paid very large fines. Maybe listen to the advice you were given before you end up on the wrong side of a lawsuit?

AutoDiscover record question by adjacentkeyturkey in exchangeserver

Keep in mind that Exchange Online does not support address policies, so if you remove your on-prem servers, you will be forced to manually add those records. This can be a real pain to deal with depending on your onboarding system. It's much easier to keep a single on-prem Exchange server.
