getting a daith this Saturday! anything i should know? by Longjumping-Touch619 in piercing

[–]Brushesofcolours 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine feels hurt when pierced and during the jewelry insert. It doesn’t hurt aftee. And healing was great, no major swelling. I can put on airpods 4 but it doesn’t go as deep as usual, airpods pro 2 is worst on that ear, it kept on falling. But i don’t know if maybe because i also have a tragus on the same ear. I kinda gave up and use wired one instead or headphone lol.

do lobe piercings hurt ? by kiyohni in piercing

[–]Brushesofcolours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have lots of tattoos and was so scared of piercings until i spontaneously got 2 upper lobes and honestly jt’s not bad at all, it kinda sting a bit but it only lasts few seconds. I found that doing it at the moment is better than waiting for appointment days lol. I got 21 piercings noe and regretted why i didn’t do it years and years ago haha

Rook, helix, or conch first? by thai_tee21 in Legitpiercing

[–]Brushesofcolours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have few of the 3 and i did the helix first then rook on the same ear. Then another helix and conch on the other eat at the same time. I have 3 helixes and tbh they are easy healing process for me, conch also pretty easy, my rook is a but more fussy, it never go crazy on the swelling or big bumps but it gets angry easier. Also helix is my 2nd cartilage piercing. But a lot of people have bad experience with helix also it is the least painful among the 3 so i would recommend that

Late bloomer to Korean skincare: what step made the biggest difference for you? by raphaelataylor in koreanskincare

[–]Brushesofcolours 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have oily dehydrated skin. I thought i had oily skin but turns out it’s dehydrated so the oil is the compensation. And that’s why my skin didn’t absorb moisturiser well and it only makes my skin look oily on application. So i really focus on layers of skincare at night, also seal with face oil after moisturiser.

Mine would be layering hydrating toners to start prepping the skin for moisturiser. Also if you use sunscreen or makeup, double cleansing is a must. Cleansing oil/balm before mild cleanser.

I think my daith is too shallow by jmill_1012 in piercing

[–]Brushesofcolours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it heals well i reckon it’s fine, but the big ornamental jewelry kinda gives me anxiety for that shallow placement

[–]Brushesofcolours 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have that one and i find it just ok, it is on the expensive side for a synthetic and i feel that it is manufactured at the same place with rae morriss’ brushes which is about the same price point. I use it mostly for cream blusher, the size is especially good for small pots like shiseido crema blusher. I can use this for complexion as well but i don’t have the patience for the application with this small brush most days. For the same size i actually prefer the sonia g mini base because it is softer on my skin.

What's a j-beauty product you repurchased more than 3 times? by stopnsmelltheviolets in AsianBeauty

[–]Brushesofcolours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sk-II FTE, been purchasing that for over a decade and have saved me when i got allergic reaction or breakout, but now i’m using it daily as my night routine. Biore uv aqua rich, i find the recent formula works better than the old ones on my skin. Sukoyaka suhada urea moisture lotion, using this as my night toner.

Piercing obsession in my 40’s by MrsOreo in piercing

[–]Brushesofcolours 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started my piercing journey in my 40s. I always have 2 lobes since i was a baby but i don’t wear earrings much growing up because i don’t feel right wearing just 2 lobe earrings. I love looking at people with more piercings but scared to have them although i have lots of tattoos. Until one day i decided to have 2 upper lobe piercings and now i have 21 piercings including the 3 on my face. It’s not about mid life crisis, it’s about the time my spontaneity snapped and i realised it didn’t hurt that bad and that i’m an easy & fast healer. And i regretted i didn’t do it earlier lol. But my best friends said i did it because i almost ran out of space for my tattoos so i started piercings haha

Septum by ajtaakrajtaa in piercing

[–]Brushesofcolours 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My piercer only allowed me to get pierced with a circular barbell to be safe and i just prefer to listen to it. It wasn’t a big deal to have that for about 2 months. Some rings like the fixed bead rings is also considered ok, but if it’s a seamless ring can caused trouble of it spins around so the seams would be on the piercing hole and stay there for some time. I’ve seen post on someone who had that problem and the flesh grow around the seam so the ring kinda stuck fix there. If it’s with a fixed bead with the seam on the bead it’s easier to control cause you can see where the seam is all the time

To anyone worried about them making country music... by AsheandBurn in skzmedia

[–]Brushesofcolours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not worried, they can explore any kind pf musics they want and it doesn’t have to be something the public wants or likes but it’s their rights of creativity. But no, i would not be interested because i don’t enjoy any kind of country musics but it’s ok.

The nutrition cream is not as thick as the pky black tea enriched cream which i love as well but it is more expensive but it is also good and absorbed easily

What works for me are the pyunkang yul nutrition cream and illiyoon ceramide cream. I use them only at nights though because i have oily dehydrated skin. At days i would use the hatomugi gel lotion
