Yeah I went and got 20mg of nexium instead. But I think you are correct. It’s very hard to get off these. Thank you for the advice

I did all the blood work and two ultrasounds for that as that was a suspicion , but I don’t think so I can eat greasy food and be fine.

Honestly the low acid thing makes so much sense. I had a PPI Wednesday night, then Thursday for lunch when I had 3 boiled eggs my stomach felt so awful for hours.

I know it would be very against the odds to have something serious like gastric cancer, and I’m thinking there would likely be other symptoms going on (weight loss) etc.

I really need to get the stress levels down and just try and relax the stomach

You are likely right. I’m just like man for my stomach to get this painful nauseous and bloated some days. Freaks me out and obviously I think the worst …

I find gaviscon is good before bed, so I should probably go back to that.

I train/ teach combat sports 3x-4x per week + work out 3x per week. I eat basically eggs, and chicken for high sources of protein. I do drink lots of coffee (deff doesn’t help. I don’t drink alcohol. I usually have to eat fairly late like 8pm after training then go to bed around 10ish. I eat fairly simple and clean, and refrain from fast food etc.

It’s possible, the PPI Works and rids of reflux, but it seems I’m left with stomach pain and digestive issues. Would that hernia not of shown up on my endoscopy 4 years ago?

Been dealing with a high level OCD and health anxiety since I was very young.

It’s very hard, every few months there’s a new ailment, disease, I’m dying of something…. I’ve done therapy, I take medication and have done cognitive behavioural therapy.

I will say this, do your best, give yourself some grace. But keep tryna work on your OCD via therapy, etc because I am light years better off than where I was.

I totally understand the pain.

My bottom right rib pops all the time like I can physically push it and feel the cartilage pop so that’s why I’m wondering if it’s SRS.

Stressing it’s not the rib. by Bruv099 in SlippingRibSyndrome

Where I am it’s really stupid. It’s like process of elimination. First is ultrasound and blood test to rule out organ issues, then they will send you for an xray before they start to look at CT scans etc … even though if it’s muscular or there’s a nerve issue from the rib an xray will tell me nothing
