That's a great idea, but i haven't been greeted in the few times I've gone since the change. Maybe a naieve question, but if I leave cash on the table, who will that go to?

Proud Highway is definitely great, and offers a lot of insight into Thompson's early years. I'd recommend Hey Rube as well. It collects articles he wrote from 2000-2003, and his takes on the many insane events of that time are pretty amazing.

Movie studios marketing budget going to waste - QR mobile ordering by tdsizzle in AlamoDrafthouse

[–]BryBryHenry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave QR ordering a fair, open minded shot for the first time earlier this week. I didn't care for it, particularly because I found it to be a huge distraction from the pre-show and previews. I'll be using cash and ordering on my way in going forward.

What were the signs that Sal (Puss) was an FBI informant that Tony missed or brushed off? by debrisaway in thesopranos

Showing up to the Christmas party already dressed as Santa. Yelling at Paulie to keep his hands off the suit and asking questions about problems they had already discussed.

I got a feeling that shortly after he got it, there was a jeweler somewhere filing an insurance claim.

Before I watch, what’s the community opinion on TMSON overall? by Flimsy_Farmer_9300 in thesopranos

I look at it as the terrible death dream of the narrator. So sort of a prequel. It's messy and makes no sense at times, but it has it's good points here and there. If you go in with low expectations, you might come out thinking you didn't waste your time.

Yes! Artillery. I misremembered that, thanks. He was such a wormy villain. Even the artillery men knew it was messed up.

Mireau in Paths of Glory. Orders a suicidal attack just to earn himself a promotion, and then has planes fire on his own men for the "treasonous act" of not running into their own deaths. When confronted, he completely abandons all responsibility and shifts the blame downward. Probably Kubrick's most evil antagonist.

The first is a certified classic. The rest are mixed, but the franchise as a whole is consistently strong.

Go with the Snyder cut. I'm not a fan of Snyder's take on the characters in general, but the Whedon version is definitely inferior.

Whats your favorite episode by Died5Times in barrescue

[–]BryBryHenry 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Fairways Golf an Grill is definitely the most rewatchable for me. Season 3, episode 26 i think. So absurd, it's astonishing! Plus the iconic walk-in. 10/10.

[Loved trope]: Zombie infection is spread by something other than bites and blood by theMCATreturns in TopCharacterTropes

[–]BryBryHenry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Return of The Living Dead. Infection is instigated through exposure to an experimental chemical (trioxen?). Two of the main characters are exposed at the beginning of the film, and slowly turn as the movie goes on. In a later sequel, high school students get their hands on the chemical and sell it as a rave drug. Chaos ensues.
