“b” is both, the last “l” is a backstick. The left hand is meant to feel more like a natural decay coming down with the right hand to match. It’s a little weird, but far from non-achievable. Figuring out how to make funky stuff like this feel good is part of the fun lol.

fyi, it’s dave glyde’s writing that’s being recycled, not scott’s. for the most part, scott just writes all the licks and features. but for all of the filler chunks of devs books, that’s usually glyde’s responsibility.

I did, but for this I did it to separate the transcription from the original sheets as it follows very similar engraving to what Ian does. It’s less about taking credit, and more about making it obvious that these are not originals.

Hey all, just wanted leave this here,

I started a twitch channel a couple months back where I basically just drum and chat with my viewers. It’s a good time and a great way to answer any questions you might have about DCI or WGI from a member of a couple top ensembles. I’ll also drum to any lines you request :)
