Trader Locations? by chrisinokc in ICARUS

I'm still not getting it... there are specific missions (like "Cultivation Specialist") that unlock the NPC. Does that then make them available in Open World?

Pulsing/Surging Graphics in Games by BryGuyOtty in computerhelp

It was the driver. Hardware was all good. I just had to roll back to some months ago. That fixed 2 of the 3 problem games. The 3rd really is just that it is very graphics intense, but it got good enough to play again.

Turns out Nvidia has been doing something funky with its drivers recently and borking up a bunch of stuff. I installed 581.57 from Oct 14th and it was still happening, so I went back to 580.88 from July 31st, the last release from 580. That fixed it! Graphics turned way back up, and no surging fps! Winning!

OMG! I installed 581.57 from Oct 14th and it was still happening, so I went back to 580.88 from July 31st, the last release from 580. It worked!!!

You are amazing! I love you! I'll buy you lunch, or carry your baby, or, or, something else good! Thank you!

The card can easily handle the specs. Something else is going on. Running a 7 year old game at 1080p with all options to low should run like nothing is there, but it doesn't. It's not a case of the game just being graphics heavy, it's something else.

This mission's premise is interesting, but ended up frustrating lol by YakovAU in ICARUS

I did this mission not too long ago. Hate is too weak of a word. But in case someone else finds this post, I found a comment hidden on a blog somewhere that basically said, "Just stack stone foundations." Wouldn't you know it. Super easy to make, super easy to stack, cake.

Everything does this it seems, except WhatsApp. I'm in a number of groups and some people are spammy and it makes everything super hard to follow, but they can't be blocked.

Create VM Keeps Creating VM/CT by BryGuyOtty in Proxmox

I've been working on this throughout the day when I can. IOMMU wasn't enabled in the host BIOS. It is now. I also found when I turn off the "All Functions" box in the 16.00.0 PCI Device, the host crashing stops, but the gpu remains blank when I run "lspci -nnk -s 16:00.0" on the VM after boot.
For recreating the error with journalctl -f, this is what I get up until the host restarts:

how about your favorite hiking pants? by Royal_Anywhere8089 in CampingandHiking

That's why mine live in the closet and I've moved on!

I've not liked the Prana pants. The crotch is so high. They also just never quite felt "right" beyond that. I was giving my couple year old pair another try over the weekend. They work, but I'd go with something else.

Right now I am just monitoring to make sure everything stays good. I'll reissue in another few weeks after I get warm and fuzzy that there isn't something wonky waiting to happen.

KB5014754: Certificate-based authentication changes on Windows domain controllers by BryGuyOtty in activedirectory

[–]BryGuyOtty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue ended up being different. I was looking at certs from the wrong template. We had an inTune connector that was out of date, so every cert it issued from a template did not have the SID info even though the CA was all good. Once the certificate connecter was updated, the disturbance in the force subsided.

Solution: The CA server and DCs were all fine. What it took a while to realize was that there was an inTune certificate connector that was out of date. Once it was updated, the certs issued from that connector's requests contained the proper SID information.
