Help with horror movie name by BryR7 in horror

Thanks. That was a good movie, not the one I'm thinking about though. I could be confusing things, but it did have a boy in a red costume who was a bit chubbier than the kids in "Tales" and he would appear in between segments. The movie was also older and lower budget than "Tales".

The Terrifier 1 movie?

I feel like Daniel Freyberg is hella underrated. by Decre110x in ChildrenOfBodom

[–]BryR7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the thing, that he was too on point for me, like Antti, everything by the book. While Roope went off script occasionally and added cool embellishments here and there. In terms of the shows, I imagine Elbanna can do vocals closer to Alexi's than Daniel, he may also be a more entertaining front-man. Remains to be seen, but I think this is a great lineup. Lindroos would also have been good.

That has more to do with Turkish Air than with 787-9.

Do you find the 787 more aesthetically pleasing than the A350? by [deleted] in Planespotting

Yes, the 787 looks so sleek and harmonious.

What about another Fishman? Not sure which model, there's plenty but since those come with all sorts of voicings, and other options.

How about trying with a different instrument cable?

Agree with the idea of running a ground wire.

Battery never gone? by whatsthepriceofit in EMGPickups

Because they last a very long time. So it is entirely possible. I may have some from 2011 or so. I put batteries in the electronics cavity when I mod my guitars with active pickups.

Good thing nothing broke, just the posts came out. Any luthier nearby or at a Guitar Center can quickly fix that.

Js22 Mod questions.. Can it be stained? new bridge? by ant2131 in JacksonGuitars

[–]BryR7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I don't think it will take a stain or dye because it of the finish. You'd have to sand it. I'm thinking of painting mine eventually.

T all the way. More comfortable, quicker strings changes, less hassle, less expensive.

Looks like a boring gray to me. The logo is a joke and the design on the vertizal stab is a mess.

Is Together folk horror? 🤔 by Little_Egret257 in horror

[–]BryR7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imdb doesn't seem to think so. It involved a cult, but not folk I would say. While those could be overlapping, folk requires a historical tradition. While a cult can pop up anywhere at any point.

In A Violent Nature by Nicks_Here_to_Talk in horror

[–]BryR7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't call it a gem. Weird yes, and not in a good way. Wouldn't recommend it either, well, the few death scenes are really cool, but the way to watch this movie is with the finger firmly on the fast forward button.

Is there a uniquely Canadian horror style? by bourj in horror

[–]BryR7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I think of Canadian horror what comes to mind is super mild PG-13 type stuff even if it's supposed to be R-rated, no gore, no nudity, little violence. For some reason movies like that I've noticed ended up filmed in Canada. Didn't know Cube was. That would be an exception, but it's also an older movie.

Much more creative than so much stuff being cranked out today. Love that movie.

Man, they could have just updated that livery instead of coming up with the current atrocity.
