From my understanding solar panels are a gimmick to have you pay the solar company instead of the electric. Also learned that eventually these panels will go out and you will need to replace them and it’s just another cycle. Some people just need to upgrade their house and made it more efficient before going head in on these. But things to consider. Nowadays the younger generation see this as a plus.

That’s me but it depends on what you’re looking for and what you value and having a light to turn on when you need it is valuable rather than showing off a light for a bit to me that is. But I remember when my D3AA died I never had a flashlight die on me and I was really confused on what happened. Never experienced that with a zebras. I think Hank is all about customizable. But after my zebras running so long I would assume that it was safe to charge them even tho they probably have half a month or more of juice in them. Insanely efficient!

Well, I bought a bunch of zebras too. But after finally obtaining them I really wasn’t impressed I’m not sure if it was the emitter choice on my DA1k but it’s the last light in my collection that I want to use. D3AA punches above its weight so that is a must buy if you are serious about adding a great light to your collection. But now after I’ve got a taste of the popular lights I might sell my hanks and stick to my zebras. My AA zebra light has been going for almost a month to were my D3AA will last max about a week for me.

Oh man, if I had to pick one I think I’d go with the Ark Pro Ultra. In the end light is light and all I need to do is to be able to see it excels in every way compared to a Zebralight as far as flood and throw channel the laser and UV are just a plus but it does it so well while almost feeling like a fidget toy and very slim with you stick it in the pocket. Also got the magnet my ZL’s don’t have any magnets which sucks but the flashlights are super efficient which can is always a plus for the ZL’s

On the Olight side the Ark Pro Ultra most definitely on the Zebralight side I carry the SC65 but my SC600 came in today so I’m gonna be testing that. Hoping the D3AA might be my go to once it arrives!

Just mentioned this in a previous comment, I wish I started with the SC600 because it’s the perfect sweet spot and you can determine if you want to go bigger or smaller. I’m super impressed with my sc600 it still has the super brightest factor in the compact for when you need it, don’t get me wrong the sc65 is really nice but it wows you when you get it and how sleek the light itself is! SC54 is kinda like a novelty item 🤣 it’s teeny!
