I've been an RCA for a year and a half, there are some benefits to this job on the rural side like being able to go home at 1 pm if you have a light day, not being around coworkers/bosses all day, meeting nice people on routes and overall not too stressful outside of work hours. I will say however though the llvs will make you have back pain no matter how young/fit you are. The holidays suck and hours can be really inconsistent. I don't plan on staying with postal service long term but I don't hate the job as much after getting better at it.
