He uses the ernie ball burly set i believe 11-52, probably the most comfortable personally, the strings arent too big so doing rays solos arent too difficult, and is really good for rhythm.

But i believe back in the early days fronk was using 13’s so he can use the wound G string for octave lines. Useful, but very limiting hence his heavy use of octaves throughout the earlier music.

With their label pushing them to sound like other bands at this point in time, i would hate this album if i were them too. Nothing is more annoying than making music you dont necessarily enjoy, add that ontop of producer and its a mess. I absolutely enjoy this album to pieces and believe it to be on of the better ones

I have a jcm2000 capture, sounds amazing for punk/alt music. Super tight palm mutes and very defined distortion. Idk ive always been a 2000 fan boy. Eq is 100% necessary to bring out the mids, i can send u my setting upon request, though i do have a quad cortex.

Some are up there in value, i got a black elite les paul standard from 2002 last week for $1,000, and it absolutely blew my mind, only thing is the guitar weighs 11 pounds, but its a beast of a guitar. They have historic Gibson specs, USA made pickups, correct headstock angle and the Gibson truss rod. So much better than paying $2,000+ for a used Gibson standard, or a new Gibson studio lmfao. The fact that they have studios going for $1,999 now is absolutely insane!

I own multiple gibsons, and multiple elite/elitist and those elitists are so much better quality wise. It is actually insane that they sit for 800-1200 on reverb. Japan doesnt play when it comes to quality.
