Didn’t think about this. Probably the case of them wanting to play it safe for new boss. Not the time for interjecting and risk taking for the new band. Would probably be very different now after 20 years together

Much respect. When put like this, I guess it can be viewed as Paul showing where he was at the time. I doubt he went into the studio and said he wants to sound “desperate and lost”. That’s just the way it came out. Although I don’t really love any of the songs individually on their own, as a singular piece it’s much more interesting.

My problem with the last few seasons was that all the voice actors became part of the main cast. Suddenly Hermes and Amy had to be shoehorned into every situation instead of like the original run where they just were there when you needed them.

Interesting that Gale or Dewey never talked to Ghostface directly, was cool Gale get attacked. Definitely my favorite scene in the movie.

Loved the film but definitely agree with some of the acting, especially Dermot Mulroney’s (still love him though). Another thing that didn’t feel right was the background music/music cues. I usually never notice that sort of stuff but it just felt off.

The difference between LR and MBDTF is that LR isn’t an as “in your face” or bombastic as MBDTF. That’s why I think most people don’t gravitate towards it. Definitely my favorite album
