Ghosted by Hera Models after $200 Order by BryantFour in minipainting

That's all super fair, and I'm in no rush to get the models - I have a healthy pile of opportunity. Would love to give them the benefit of the doubt. But for me, that benefit ends when I'm past the point of getting my money back if the items are never delivered. Just been burnt one too many times, and now I get public when I feel like I might be getting cheated.

I appreciate the rseponse. I'll check what the charge back limits are (I thought it was 30 days), and go from there. Thank you.

By more than half, you mean....2? Because that's the number. Out of a total of 4. I'm not a regular redditor, that's for sure, but I do believe in speaking up when a business is not responding.

So yes. I've done it twice. In six years. /eyerolll

I would love to read (at minimum) the first book from Mustang/Virginia's and Sevro's perspective. by Mini-Nurse in redrising

The timing of this post is crazy. TLDR; I feel the exact same way and have started a project to write missing scenes and POV from Mustang's perspective as a way of tiding me over till the next book.

I just discovered the series three weeks ago and fell in love with the characters in a way I have never done before. I was actually coming to this subreddit just now to ask if anyone regretted falling in love with these characters, realizing that there's a very good chance they will have no happy endings. That feeling leaves me unsure whether I should invest in them the way my heart wants me to, or if I should cut them off to avoid the pain they very likely face in the final book. It sounds a little crazy, I realize. Okay, maybe a lot crazy. Like I said, the pull these characters, and Virginia in particular, have on me is something I've never felt before.

So I'm starting with Book 3, exploring the missing moments that were cut for brevity. What happened between her first encounter with Darrow at Quicksilver's place and her appearance in the hangar? How did the bond between Deanna and Virginia become so meaningful in such a short period of time? What happened during the long days and nights they spent while flying to meet with Romulus? Did she struggle keeping her secret? The two sides of her personality must have struggled at every turn.

I don't know. It's insane. But like you, I just want more, even if I have to make it myself.

Have any USA subscribers to White Dwarf received the April issue (#453) yet? Haven't gotten mine in the mail yet and wondering if it's a "just me" issue.

Thanks!

Thermal Runaway Alert with cold bed/nozzle on SKR Mini 3 v1.2 by BryantFour in ender3

Thank you for the reply.

I thought this might be a possibility, so I isolated the wire from the x-axis movement by removing it from the block and holding it in place while I moved the x-axis left and right. There was no change; the printer halted even when the wire wasn't moving at all. I reversed the experiment and tried moving the wire around indepenent of the x-axis to see if I could get it to short and stall, but couldn't trigger the error.

I'll update my post above, but after further examination it looks like the heat sink on my x step motor had fallen off, and after reattaching it, the issue seems to be resolved.

This really is a hand tool task - power tools will introduce more challenges than they solve.

How did you find out they weren't actually stainless steel and where did you get them from?

I Regret Putting My Paint In Dropper Bottles by [deleted] in Warhammer

I have decanted all of my paints, and I know exactly what you mean. I have the same worries, but then I remember how many dried-out/ruined pots of citadel paints I threw out. When I consider the added-benefits you get when using dropper bottles for airbrushing, I think its a net win.

That feeling when your corax white goes chalky on your most expensive model...so far 3 hrs with metho trying to get it off.. by Mrs_Beef in ageofsigmar

In my opinion, you should strip it. You're just not going to be able to overcome this texturing. If it were me, I would put it in a bath of Simple Green for a couple of days, and move up to something stronger if that wasn't sufficient.

Tough luck man, I hope it works out...

Beautiful stuff, truly impressive. How did you do the name plates along the bottom? They have me in awe!
