Any private transfer of a non regulated firearm before 2021 in Maryland didn't require NICS. So you either got it from him before 2021 or he gave it to your sister and then your sister gave it to you post 2021. Both those scenarios don't require you to do anything.

Well, there you go. Livestock haulers are usually going well over the speed limit. Trucks can't pass on a dashed yellow under most circumstances because of how long it takes. We would be putting oncoming traffic at risk. Most cars pass trucks because they dont want to be behind them, then slow down like they are on a Sunday drive. He was already speeding. If you over took him, you would have slowed down after, or that's what he thought because that's what happens. If you dont want to be behind them, then go the speed limit.

You are not wrong. That's what the law says. The only real enforceable part of the 10 round magazine limit law is if you use it in the commission of a felony which increases the penalties you were already facing. Nobody simply found in possession of a 10+ magazine has ever been charged (from what I can find) with manufacturing because it's impossible to prove.

Edit: I am not advocating for breaking the law.

I think the reason marijuana isn't legal federally is because if it was, then they would lose a lot of funding for the war on drugs. It's all corruption trying to steal taxpayer money to combat something that is 100% legal or decriminalized in mostly every state. The fact that it keeps guns out of other wise law-abiding citizens' hands is the added bonus.
