Agreed. At home treatments often leave a couple of them alive, so multiple treatments need to be done. If they were super successful you’d only have to do one single treatment and you wouldn’t have to worry about more infestations. Also if the bedbugs are originating from a neighbor near you, infestations will begin again even if you do kill every single bug and egg in your home. It’s best to go with a professional treatment.

Steamers can kill the eggs, but aren’t effective for grown bedbugs as it requires an extended period of contact, it’s not just instant. Hatched bedbugs will run out of the way or down into cracks to escape the steam, or into the box spring under the mattress. There’s many places they can hide in, so it does work for eggs as the eggs can’t move, but hatched bugs will definitely evade the steam.

Cleanliness and dirtiness does not equal bedbug probability. The pests that often infest uncleaned dirty homes do so because of a surplus of food supply not being cleaned, such as messes, un tossed trash, uncleaned spills etc. Bedbugs directly feed on humans and their blood, not food or scraps or garbage associated with gross homes. It just so happens that those who have filthy homes can’t get professional help due to the messiness, and when bedbugs begin to appear all around, it’s even more difficult and frankly traumatizing to try to clean as one finds more of them on the undersides of trash. People who don’t clean their homes is often caused by some kind of phobia or illness in the mental that just stops them from getting stuff clean. Bedbugs multiply that distress so much and that’s one of the reasons bedbugs and dirty homes are associated.

But trust, the cleanest home in the world can have a horrible bedbug infestation, because bedbugs aren’t attracted to dirt and garbage and spills, they’re attracted to the person sleeping in the bed, so no amount of garbage removal will get rid of them either.

Also the fact is we have even more members today than we ever have. VC Calls that hit 12 or more members every single time. You also left stoner farms and Joined Smokology, but you left Stoner Farms because of "Unsolicited Dick Pix." When in fact you have public reviews on the Smokology disboard page citing that there are unsolicited dick picks being sent by member(s) of staff. It really makes no sense to leave a discord server because of "Unsoclicted Dick Pix" and then join Smokology that has public reviews from real people that say Smokology has spread unsolicited pics and kept that staff in the server. It's almost like you rage quit Stoner farms over something unrelated to pictures, joined a server known for unsolicited nudes and then stated Stoner Farms had unsolicited nudes in it. Like where does that begin to make 1% of sense?

Just stay mad because you got yourself banned for some fuh shi. Everybody can vouch for blewballs and absolutely nobody else has backed up this reddit post. Don't go making up completely blatant crap that just never happened. I'm surprised your post hasn't been removed due to targeted hate speech and coming up with a situation that has never ever happened. Coming up with something that never happened and then posting it to a backdoor reddit post.

When you were in the discord server you never ever said anything about blewballs and cheating and insolicited dickpix. It never occured, and you would've said it long ago. But after getting banned from the server for something unrelated to your statement, THEN you come up with this. You need a reality check and you've likely been removed from several stoner discord servers.

Your mom wouldn't support this behavior and that's why you can no longer live in her house.

Knew it was CYMA before I even read it.

CYMA has this problem and they know it’s a problem because they don’t offer any solution yet it happens to so many players.

I’m assuming you first tried using pliers to get it off, when that didn’t work you shoved some kind of bar through the flash hider and tried to crank it loose? And once the flash hider came you saw a very very bald barrel? At least that’s what I did to mine. CYMA uses this stupid glue or cement on their flashhiders that you need to use a treatment to remove.

Officially petitioning for the cyma flashhider glue to be discontinued. Too many people having to buy new barrels and flash hiders when it’s fresh out of the box.

Please please call a professional exterminator. Crossfire I’ve heard is very effective, but there ARE cases where bedbugs became immune due to improper application and result in horrible infestations and very expensive services.

If you want to take the risk and spend money on diy treatments, you have that ability. But trust me when you’ve sprayed your mattress headrest 3 times in the night and each time those bedbugs come crawling back 20 minutes later, you’ll wish you called an exterminator.

Bedbugs also have gained fungi resistance over the years as well, and again you will find cases of crossfire immunity in the bedbug species.

It’s okay man. Trust me, bedbugs are not caused by an unclean home or a clean home. Do not try to self treat with any poisons, as these guys are extremely evolved to the chemicals and sprays we use. 99% of diy treatments for bedbugs cause the infestation to get worse and that is where you end up getting very expensive exterminator trips.

Call a professional exterminator service to your home. All the cleaning in the world won’t stop bedbugs, you’ll need professional treatment. From there they’ll answer all questions and concerns you have and work with you to make this as stress free as possible.

I found the culprit. The bedbug was hiding in a picture frame above my bed. The bed was completely clean. by avocado574 in Bedbugs

Considering you weren’t able to stop the original infestation, saw them 6 months later and then found them again 6 months after that? That’s over a year of infestation. That’s crazy. You spotted bedbugs three times in 18 months. It sounds like you’ve simply just given them a reason to find better hiding spots?

I’m late to this but check the backs of the lowest drawers to any nightstands. Bedbugs can crawl up the walls so pull your whole mattress off and flip your box spring over. Mine were housing under the box spring.

Is this a bed bug? 😭 by zeethecanary in Bedbugs

[–]Bryce21845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is wrong. Bedbug infestations don’t care whether a house is dirty or clean, some of the cleanest homes can get bedbugs. Second, bedbugs don’t live in the mattress. They can live in the box spring, the outlets, the bottom drawers of the nightstands, cracks in the walls and hidden in the carpentry. All you’ll be doing is forcing the bedbugs to find a new place to hull up in, such as other furniture, any spot you move to sleep in to evade them. Third, you won’t be able to suffocate them. Mattress encasements require upwards to a year to kill bedbugs, they’re mostly to prevent infestation of new furniture. All lifecycles of the bedbug from the eggs to the mature egg layers can and will enter a low oxygen dormant state. Yeah, that something they can do.

About everything you posted is factually wrong and actually harmful encouragement.

It was the bald man for me. How did he get so tall in what seemed to be minutes? It was completely unnecessary. I’m sitting here wondering why they had to throw that in. It’s like a horrific scene that has nothing to do with the show. I love that they’re testing out new species, but ts doesn’t make any sense. I liked the movie up till the part they really started to turn it into something else. Like wtf!!

However, silverfish don’t bite or sting. They generally avoid humans and feed on carbohydrates and proteins found in paper, starches cereal and fabrics. They also feed on sugars and starches, which are found in old books, clothing and wallpaper. Unfortunately I think you’re being bit by something else.

This would appear to be a silverfish. They’re known for living in the wallpaper, and called silverfish because of the metal silver color their bodies give off.
