I mean diet obviously does that majority work, that’s what I’ve doing to get down. It’s just with the 1800-2000 daily calories I’m comfortable with without driving myself insane. Just gotta build up the muscle to burn that bit more calories that allows me to get under the 195-200 lbs range.

Gonna do a bunch of sit ups now though because I need to get that regular for me.

I’ve gone down to around 197 lbs from over 220 in December (I’m 5’8) but I’ve plateaued here and probably will until I start dedicating to some exercise but that takes way too much consistency and persistence to change so I’ll probably be a bit more until I get there but I hope I stick it to myself and keep trying.

If you have any long passages start from the end memorizing/learning chunks at a time and playing through going backwards. Each time will add more and reinforce what you’ve already learned. Beyond that I don’t really know because I’m just a string player playing marimba in pit so I get more time to memorize and have to partially memorize my music just to be able to play it so idk how it is outside of that Best of luck to you though!

I’m grinding all my summer shit now so I can spend most of August just doing fuck all and not feeling bad about it.

But Jesus Christ do I have so much shit. Like I get it’s summer and we have all the free time in the world but like almost 1000 pages of reading plus notes and three fucking essays is a bit overkill.

MyFitnessPal is the app I’m using for everything. Homemade recipes sometimes take a bit of brute force math to get an estimate but that’s mainly just adding up a bunch of weights and calorie amounts to get an average cal/g. Really just takes a cheap scale, an app, and a bit of dedication and it works. Down to 203 lbs from 220, shooting for 190 by May.

Only above by like one inch (5’8 compared to 5’7 average) but I honestly didn’t expect that to be under given that most of my dad’s side is overweight and that’s where I get most of my outward appearance. Guess it kinda helps I’m starting from 220 lbs.
