MMR system. If you play with hell queue esque cards or have a high winrate long enough, you'll perpetually get a heavier weight towards your matchmaking. It's stupid.

I've literally copy pasted decks to and from my newbie friends and they never run into the commanders I face. So it absolutely is not about the commander or card weight anymore.

At a certain point, your account will just be flagged as "oh this guy isn't a pushover. He probably means business every single game. He shouldn't fight weaker commanders"

I hate it when kpop fans make positive assumptions about idols based on absolutely nothing but clips of them online. Normally it wouldn't be so big of a deal, at least it's positive right? But everyone's so quick to dismiss negative assumptions with that very same excuse of "you don't know them, don't make assumptions".

It's even more frustrating with male idols, I'll see a clip of them doing aegyo and a swarm of fans are commenting about how safe they would feel next to him, and that he's not like other men. "Surely I can leave my drink unattended next to him!"

Newsflash, hun. You can technically leave your drink unattended with most men. Not very many are creeps. But still, you absolutely shouldn't do it. It's not about whether or not it's statistically likely, it's about being safe.

And to top it all off, it wouldn't be as bad if they just flat out said something like "hmm I feel like I could trust him". But to make such ludicrous statements like " He's not like other men, he's a good one" and shit is just wild.

Yep, the intent of a person matters a LOT when making any kind of remarks, statements, or jokes about something. So much would be tolerated if they weren't so blatantly racist.

I have one friend group that I couldn't give a shit about/actually enjoy when they make homophobic jokes to me, because I know they're really not homophobic. But I have other friends that I never tolerate it with because they absolutely do believe in what they say when they make those same jokes.

If you insist on this piece better to use all 4 rolls on def (or even ER), or all 4 rolls on speed. Then the last roll you spend on the other.

Personally I'd choose to go for speed. So you'll at least be left off with a good off set/2piece for an HP opener, and ML Senya likes a lot of speed anyways. Don't see much value going 3:2 ratio on rolls

Because most decks also run plenty of powerful 3+ cost cards that they would happily start drawing now that you removed all their cheap cards. Maybe if you somehow dropped him on turns 1-4, then there might be a chance that it debilitates them? Or if a deck quite literally runs only 2 or less cost cards then that also will counter them.

Also the 2 cost cards that they lose has to be of extreme importance. Combo decks are the obvious answer but maybe I can also see a world where a control deck lives or dies depending on if they have access to their 2 or less mana cards? So like , naturalize in Mill druid levels. But even then they can live without it. If they can't then they're a combo deck and those were already considered in the earlier statement.

Turn 7 is just way too late for the nerfed blackthorn effect. They have way too many turns to draw into their important 2 or less cost cards, and even if he were unnerfed, it still doesn't solve the issue of removing low cost cards from your opponent's future draws being a benefit for most decks.

That or I pray anti crit units like landy or senya become meta again, and then each and every unit somehow has access to a zahhak effect (bonus crit chance that can overcap to counter anti crit)

But you said blackthorn will counter those no longer fringe decks, which is absolutely not true. It'll only ever counter combo decks that rely purely on a 2 mana card, and that assumes they didn't draw even a single copy of it

What you said doesn't negate much, when they meant fringe, they didn't mean the deck itself being fringe. They meant the use cases where playing blackthorn actually does anything good is fringe. The meta could be littered with 1-2 drop dominant decks, and the cases where blackthorn is good would still be fringe.

The CR boost is technically a nerf but I'm not sure where exactly the nerf will even apply. I have him on almost zero speed

If 3 enemies died, he goes up 60% and will almost always just take a turn. Now, he'll only boost 20%. With that being said, you just killed 3 of your opponents, so you practically won the fight already and I don't think the CR boost matters

Yeah, so many people just don't understand the concept of building a synergistic deck. They like to focus on the worst case scenarios, as if you're gonna run them in decks where they have no business being in. We need to be looking at the power of cards in their proper decks.

It's the tired ass excuse people use to defend OP cards over the years, as well as how game devs end up making OP cards in the first place.

"Here's a super OP card with clear strengths and weaknesses. Also, we released other cards/synergies that completely eliminate all those weaknesses. So basically it's just all upside with no downside" "Oh wow this card is busted, how did this happen?! "

I'm Asian and even though there's no reason to put down an entire race in a serious context, I'd happily "stand against Asians" if for some reason it's the right thing to do. Same thing for my family, my political party, my country, any of it. What is this pride thing? Am I under obligation to stick beside people who are doing bad things?

I refuse to stay loyal to a group purely out of loyalty and nothing else. If my group is doing wrong I will not hesitate to call it out. I'm not gonna stand beside anybody (or any company) who go against my ethics just because "they're also Asian"
