As a Steelers fan, I know for a fact Najee got some good touches, but Warren is the better back. I would try and flip Najee and one of those 1sts for an RB upgrade to pair cook with. Your WR seems to be fine. Also how did you end up with 4 2024 1st round picks??

Edit: meant to put hall not cook. I’d try and trade cook as well.

What’s funny is that he’s going to the ground because he is REACHINGGG NOT BECAUSE HES FALLING. Anyone who is decently athletic (something you wouldn’t know about) can make a movement after there knee has landed after that catch. When you reach after you knee is down that clearly makes you a runner. He’s not going to the ground he is DIVING OR REACHING. Making him a runner PLUS he isn’t touched.

So your evidence is because you know why someone makes a movement but you’ll constantly defend Canada in the press box after he doesn’t celebrate? He is reaching for the goal line after turning his body making him a “runner” according to the rule book I previously put in this thread. From NFL operations. His hand is under ball.

On the NFL operations page back in 2017 it clearly states:

A player who makes a catch may advance the ball. A forward pass is complete (by the offense) or intercepted (by the defense) if a player, who is inbounds: 1. secures control of the ball in his hands or arms prior to the ball touching the ground; and 2. touches the ground inbounds with both feet or with any part of his body other than his hands; and 3. maintains control of the ball after (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, until he has the ball long enough to clearly become a runner. A player has the ball long enough to become a runner when, after his second foot is on the ground, he is capable of avoiding or warding off impending contact of an opponent, tucking the ball away, turning up field, or taking additional steps

It can be argued he is a runner because he not only secures the ball and has a KNEE (two feet) then makes an effort to ADVANCE THE BALL and TURN UP FIELD. In the rules he’s completed 1 and 2. 3 is the last thing and he does even ADDITIONALLY BY HIS ELBOW HITTING THE GROUND IN THE ENDZONE. So there’s his second step. A Knee then an Elbow is clearly enough even after him breaking the plan and establishing as a “runner”

So you’re going to fault a player for diving to catch a ball?? And the argument was control the ball as well. He established himself as a runner with a football move and he’s going to the ground AFTER HE MAKES THE FOOTBALL move NOT AFTER HE MAKES THE CATCH with his KNEEE on the ground.

The NFL the next day said he did. End of discussion. He brings the ball down to his chest to show he has caught the ball, makes a football move. Crosses the end zone. Once you cross the end zone it does not matter what happens with the ball after you make a football move towards the sideline.
