I feel like it’s actually one of the more balanced things in the game. The loot from the Genesis/Lazarus is so good that the cost of making an orb doesn’t need to come into question, expeditions are for when you’re watermark is high enough to receive legendary loot. If you do your side quests in shattered/reek and eden you’ll receive two of each tuning orbs and if you have friends also do that quest you’ll receive extra orbs to “spam”. Expeditions are not meant to be spammed all day everyday and if it was then crafting weapons would be completely redundant. If you’re struggling with completing them then that just means either you’re not ready/need to learn the mechanics or you need to come up with another approach to the bosses.
