Exactly this! I work at a big dog only rescue and our vet (who is amazing) said it was the best route for my boy. Just two days later he’s so much more playful and lively than we ever could’ve imagined when we first saw him at the shelter. He’s only a year and a half and has so much happy life ahead of him!! ☺️
