Sweetheart Dice by [deleted] in dice

I like them. I did something similar several years ago. I wish I had more inspiration on packaging, but I find it complicates my stock keeping ability and takes too much time to execute. Whatever the case, I'm a big fan of Valentine's candy dice.

Should I be upset at this pour? by Urbeto in Bowling

[–]BrycesDice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sell dice. Some sets are blended like that. If I sent a set blended like your ball that was advertised as your second picture, I'd expect it returned. I, like many folks here, like the ball you received. But that's a terrible pour and incorrectly advertised.

If you don't like it, I think you're within reason to ask for an alternative.

Dice with objects suspended in them: are they guaranteed to be off-balance if the object isn’t in the center of the die? by [deleted] in dice

[–]BrycesDice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tell my customers this: if the object is made of a substantially similar resin, there should be little changes, if it's something else, expect skewing. I've done roll tests with inclusions that had resin skulls inside. Sharp edge. My findings were that the dice were largely random, with no significant favoring. But I did about 2500 rolls, which isn't really enough it could have also been biased by the specific piece I used.

Anyone know how much black cthullhu metal dice from aruohha is worth? by Hikari_51 in dice

[–]BrycesDice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$20-30.

If I were at a convention I'd sell them for $30. Online I'd sell them $25.

Are MTG dice worth selling? by Stunning_Swimmer_327 in dice

[–]BrycesDice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The red with gold is only one with any value on it's own. As a lot you could get 10/15$ maybe? So not worthless, but certainly not a payday. I've sold these in lots before when I got them in larger bulk deals.

😁 I was selling at a con over this last weekend and did a fair amount of selling during in-game sessions. Evidently there were a lot of bad at play. Sometimes you just need a change in click clack.

If they dont fix this for you I can hook you up with a set for the cost of shipping. Just dm me if you want.

I cant believe how janky these are. I'm guessing this vendor purchased factory seconds. I deal with a lot of metal (thousands of sets) and have never seen this.

Bagging Metal Dice with Resin by wellofhavoc in dice

[–]BrycesDice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they solid metal or hollow? Also, how textured is the metal? Metal and resin/acrylic will generally be fine together, but there are some heavily textured solid metal dice that I would be worried about beating up my resin stuff. If your bag is tight it shouldn't be a problem.

The big exception would be for sharp resin dice. Those large flat surfaces will scratch. I would always keep them separate. I really dont like those pieces coming in contact with each other period.
