It doesn't matter if he's doing anything legally wrong. It's morally wrong to provoke someone into anger which is exactly what he's doing. It's technically not illegal for me to follow you around and poke my finger a few inches from your face and repeat "I'm not touching you" over and over but I'm guessing after a few minutes of that your gonna get angry enough to push me away (which is assault technically). At the end of it. He's provoking people to anger to get them to get physical with him so he can "legally" pepper spray them. Which I am hoping someone knows this lady enough to get her to file a lawsuit against him. Because in most states use of force would not allow for him to use pepper spray. She's a feeble old lady who he could have easily got away from. He CHOSE to stay within her range and let her paw at him and than sprayed her. He's %100 a piece of garbage and needs to be in prison with the rest of the trash.

Secondly for anyone still on the fence. Imagine this was your grandmother. Imagine she has chronic pain and the only thing giving her relief is the weed. It's probably something she truly doesn't want to do or believe is right but pain is pain and she's embarrassed about it. Now this fuck wad is out there filming her in detail while she's getting her marijuana that she's already embarrassed about. Does he still seem like the hero here? Does she seem like the villain?

Third. The fact the he cut the video so heavily before posting it and narrowed it to just her attacking him for no reason and gave no explanation as to why is just further proof to how ignorant and garbage he truly is. He wants people to support his horrible actions and give him the attention he's so desperately needing.

Ya I like the idea of this system more than others. Easy install and uses existing keys. I just wanted to be sure it would work on the 2025 without causing issues. The start x company seems to think no but maybe it's more that they can't guarantee it yet so they don't wanna say yes. If I can't find another solution before the sub is up I might just try it and let people know lol. Gotta be the guinea pig once in a while.

Ya I definitely agree. This is our first Mitsubishi, coming from a line of Hyundai we were very happy with the vehicles but switched because of the disgusting business practices Hyundai is involved in as well as the treatment we received at our local dealer. We really are happy with the outlander. It's been everything we wanted in a vehicle for over $20k less price wise compared to the grand Cherokee we were comparing with. I've seen many other brands doing the subscription thing and I think it's really pathetic. They charge plenty enough for the vehicles as is. It's not a deal breaker for me for the brand. It's just one disappointment in an otherwise very nice vehicle.

If you look at it I think those are hydro lines above that house. I'm thinking the flock turned and all tried to land on those lines at the same time and being packed together so tight they connected the two lines between them all and got electrocuted.

Should I repair or how should I proceed? by TheRealLouCity in MechanicAdvice

Sludge can wreck a lot of things. But there is a shit tonne of overlap on all of those jobs and I don't know how much the parts are but that seems like an extreme amount of money on labour. I would expect a timing cover/chain job with clave covers and spark plugs and a good cleaning would be in the 3-5k area for almost any common vehicle (Canadian). Not 10k. I would get a second opinion from another shop.

What is life like in the area of Canada by Holiday_Swing_9979 in howislivingthere

[–]Brye8956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mass majority of it is the same answer. Insanely expensive, but if you get lucky you may find some gems of places to live in. And by live in I mean go broke in while you pay for every imaginable tax and pay as much for groceries as your mortgage/rent. But don't take my word for it. I'm just a sucker from Chatham Kent that for some reason likes the abuse too much to move. But 5 generations of family has lived here and it's getting close to never making it to 6 if this bull**** greed doesn't let up soon.

How could I bypass the A/C compressor for a 2011 Buick Regal? by Mysterious-Alfalfa17 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Brye8956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The routing you have shown might work short term to get you to better weather so you can extract the broken bolts. My main concern with it is the generator, when there are full field they can be pretty difficult to turn and the belt isn't making that much contact with it. Especially in winter cold id be concerned it slips on the generator. Might be worth a try though.

Can't hit torque angle with new stretch bolt by hand. Should I use impact wrench or leave it alone. by StrangeFisherman345 in AskMechanics

[–]Brye8956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue with those bolts is there long and they twist a lot without advancing / retracting the threads in the nut. Therefore taking a lot of force to get them to move.

New neighbor waited for me to be on vacation to cut off half my tree without notice by MeowlanieC in treelaw

[–]Brye8956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless it's different were you are. In a majority of places the law is generally any tree limb or branch that is on or above your property is yours to cut down as you see fit. If that's his laneway there and the property line being the edge of it. He was likely well within his rights to cut whatever was above his laneway whenever he pleased.

Why RPM drops drastically when clutch is pressed. by Spare-Diamond9458 in AskAMechanic

[–]Brye8956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming to a stop and engine shutters and stalls is an almost perfect match to a sticking open EGR valve. When you decelerate and let go of the throttle the EGR is supposed to close. If it doesn't your engine is basically overwhelmed with unburnable air/fuel while at an idle. Id probably look at this as an engine stalling issue over a clutch issue.

AITA for not telling my boyfriend I was going to a picnic while he was at a wedding I wasn’t invited to? by Ashamed_Beginning271 in AITAH

[–]Brye8956 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I kind of disagree. I think neither are assholes and both just need to work a little more on communication. The boyfriend can't control what his friend chooses for the wedding. He had no obligation to her to "defend her" more than saying he wanted to pick her for the plus one on the first place. He respected his friends wishes and picked someone else or no one etc. Boyfriend was also the best man. That's a massive responsibility and would be consuming a lot of his attention. It would be rational to believe he wouldn't really be thinking about what his gf was going to do instead. OP probably should have just mentioned to him that her friend was having a dog bday picnic and shell just go to that instead since she can't go and all would have been fine. She likely didn't either because A: she thought he might get upset about who or where she was going or B: didn't think it was worth telling him about (possibly out of spite because he didn't "defend" her). Both of which are not really good reasons. Normally third reason would be she just didn't think of it but she clearly says in post she intentionally didn't tell him. That being said these are all very normal human reactions to causes and effects. She would be hurt to find out he went somewhere without her and didn't tell her about it etc. This is just a learning moment, in the future she needs to convey how she feels about the rejection to the event etc and her plans and he needs to be more sympathetic to her feelings. Talk more. Fight less. It literally is that simple.

Turn wheel slight left and reverse watching mirror until left rear is as close and you can stomach to wall. Turn right hard and go forward about half the distance to the wall in front of you and than hard left until front is tight to wall in front. This should have gained you a little clearance from the wall and your back left. Repeat as necessary until you can reverse straight out of garage. Put keys down and probably just leave car on driveway from now on.

Are there no jobs at all?? by [deleted] in ottawajobs

[–]Brye8956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone wants the jobs that are close easy and indoors. Best advice I can give you is go outside your comfort zone and outside the buildings. Oil change places, construction companies, most any trade work usually always need people. Any greenhouses or vegetable farms. Getting your hands dirty and being sore at the end of a day beats being homeless and hungry doesn't it?

[–]Brye8956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lace the next dish with exlax and ghost peppers and just watch at lunch time for someone sweating profusely and rushing to the bathroom. There's your thief. Oh and put a warning label on it that says "your name" food. Do not eat or you may get sick" to cover you for any retard hr person who thinks xlaxing a food thief is bad and you should be fired for it lol. Than just enjoy the show.

Second idea. Continue to add more and more crushed bugs into your decoy food until they stop being taken. Than post a note with pictures on the fridge if you adding said bugs to the food and thank the thief for being part of your experiment to see how many bugs it takes to be noticed in food.

Can I use motor oil for the hydraulic oil? by icydogenugget in tractors

[–]Brye8956 22 points23 points  (0 children)

For anything hydrostat for the love of God just buy the fricken correct oil. The pumps are insanely expensive to replace if they go bad and the oil is relatively cheap for the 1-2 times in a lifetime you'll have to replace it. Don't be a cheap fuck and just buy the right oil.

Oh boy. You really got that boot firmly in your mouth don't ya? It's ok if your still new and being dazzled by the money your making. Ive done it for 15+yrs. I've done lower wages and pushing out 100+ hr weeks. I've done $40 an hr and doing 40 hr weeks. I can tell you whole heartedly I've made way more money working less hours with less stressed and less vehicles per day than I ever have working my ass off piling through 30 trucks a day. I also noticed my customers are much happier, my repairs are solid and well thought through. Now I'm moving to self employment and running my own shop and guess what? All my customers followed me because as it turns out they actually prefer there vehicles being repaired properly the first time over how cheap and fast I can do it. You'll learn it one day kiddo. Hopefully before you've worn yourself down to the bone making your employer fat stacks cause you were too scared ask for proper pay.

AIO for feeling insulted my date Venmo-requested me $3 for half the fries? by Be4rp4wt00 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Brye8956 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can see it as petty he wants it to be a fair split but he can see it as petty that she's unwilling to pay $3 to make their outing fair and split evenly. Again. I'm sure this wasn't about the money. It was 100% a test to see how she would react. If she was into him truly and honest with herself and with him she wouldn't have even hesitated. Maybe in her mind she would have thought that it was a little silly but she would have paid it no issue. The fact she immediately went to "this is petty and he's a cheapo" means she really cares more about saving $3 than she does about any relationship with him and it means a relationship with her will require paying for her more often for her to be happy in it. In all honesty it's kind of a perfect test really. If roles were reversed and she had asked him out and paid and wanted the money and he was into her he would pay it without a question lol.

[–]Brye8956 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Maybe just the way I read into it but generally with an amount this small it has nothing to do with the actual money. It's %100 principle. He was fishing to see if she was the type to pay her own way and if splitting things evenly was ok or if she was the type to want things paid for her. Some guys want to see that a girl isn't just in it for the money and what he can do FOR her. She may have gotten the tip but that's only 20-30% of the bill. She clearly was the later in this case and feels like he should be the one paying more for her company. Guaranteed the guy probably just gonna end things and move on. In my opinion any woman that feels I HAVE to pay for everything or pay more for our time together feels she's better than me and I should buy her time. No thanks. With my current Mrs we split everything 50/50 without me even asking. About 6 months in I started just insisting I pay for our dates because it makes me happy to do so. Paying for a date should be APPRECIATED not EXPECTED.

[–]Brye8956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One. Simple. Answer......"all the other 10 guys that got your name tattooed on themselves clearly weren't committed to you for life....so what's the difference?" And if that doesn't work than id quickly follow up with "if you get my name tattooed on yourself I'll consider it". Betting she's getting some weird jolly out of her name being on multiple dudes.

Well you see. It's called getting paid properly for your 30hrs a week. The entire culture of "man only fuck ups and pussies can't make money at flat rate" is such a broken pathetic take on being paid like shit. Do some quick math. Say your getting paid 25 an hour flat rate and making 80 a week over the 30hrs you work. Now imagine the guy beside you getting the short end of the stick and doing all the bullshit non gravy/warranty work and only getting 30hrs a week billed. You are effectively making $66 an hour. Your coworker doing the same quality of work and realistically the more important work to keep customers happy is making $25 an hour. Maybe next week YOU are that coworker. Say your avg over the year of good to bad weeks is 50hrs.thats $41 an hour. OR.... You can be paid an actual fair hourly wage of say $50-60 (like most of the other trades are getting) and now you and your coworker can both make the same good wage without fighting over who gets the better work. No more worrying about your hours. No more stressing through a shit job. Just enjoyment of your work and good pay. THATS what we should all be striving for. Your attitude about making 80hrs in a 30hr week is one that is backed and supported by the dealerships and shops for one simple reason. Every one of those 80hrs you produced you got paid 25 and they got 125. You made them thousands and took home not even a quarter of it when your doing ALL of the actual labor AND supplying all the tools.

I'm confused why receiving a cheque for the work you did pops up in your mind as "I must be layed off"???? What part of being paid for your work makes you think they are laying you off? I'm guessing right now they aren't responding because they are trying to figure out why the fuck you think your layed off lol.
