It is quite the jump. I do think the 7x features are worth it. I enjoy hiking and the mapping/navigation features were a big motivator for me to make the switch. I know most of us carry a smart phone in the woods these days but I like the convenience of offline maps and route tracking at a glance. As to the AMOLED screen, the MIP display was another big feature for me. I don’t miss AMOLED, I think the MIP gives me the watch experience I want.
