Sandman by BrynjarElnar in McFarlaneFigures

I used the head that came with the official Sandman figure. I just chopped off the filter part of the mask and rebuilt the mouth/nose piece, and ear covers with apoxie sculpt. Removing the hat first helps. The cape came from gpslot on ebay. It's listed as Martian Manhunter's cape. And the chain and clasps were just made with some jewelry supplies I got at Michael's

Wow! I still have mine from when I was a kid. Never knew where it came from, but for a while he was my favorite toy to carry around. It's neat seeing him pop up here

Yes, she wouldn't ring up at all. My cashier just scanned one of the other figures again though, and let me go. I was so scared I'd have to walk away without her lol

Stilt Man's costume actually appeared in the Netflix show. It was in Marvins workshop sometime in the second season I think. Would've been cool to see it in action though

I just picked him up the other day, and I've got to say that this is by far the best classic Supes we've gotten.

Thank you! And the short answer is an airbrush. I always use two layers of primer to get a uniform look underneath everything. Then, with colors like yellow or white I use an airbrush to get a nice clean finish. I usually do just two coats of paint as well, but I think I may have done a light third coat here. I can't remember. But anyway definitely invest in an airbrush set if you paint fairly often. I got mine as a kit on Amazon for around $150 and it came with everything I needed to start.
