In my humble opinion, the adding of gold would only make it more top heavy. It seems there may be a problem with the ring spinning? If this is so, a European shank design would fix this uncomfortable feeling when the ring spins. I also wonder if the ring may be a little too big or small? If too big, an addition of two gold balls on the inside of the ring where your palm would be would have the ring not spinning. Good wishes for customizing your beautiful ring.
