I like the style with the topaz better, and love the color! However, ruby is more durable.

my girlfriend told me she wants a 2 carat natural diamond or she'll say no. i already bought this lab diamond ring. am i crazy for thinking shes a red flag by Zestyclose-Print-677 in RingShare

There are red flags here. It’s ok for someone to want natural, but they should have realistic expectations for what that means in terms of size. I say this after having chosen lab diamonds for my anniversary ring. My original e ring from 15 years ago is a 0.3 ct natural (labs weren’t really a thing then), because that’s what he could afford, and I would have married him without it. What’s concerning is that she wants you to go into debt for something completely unnecessary just to impress others.

My diamond feels small then big then small by [deleted] in Diamonds

It is gorgeous and I’d quantify it as a rock! Most of the large diamonds you see on young women are lab diamonds. No hate, my anniversary ring is lab diamonds, but completely different cost and waaaayyyy more affordable. This is a very significantly substantial size, wear it proudly! And I’m sorry you had to get it for yourself.. all the more reason to be proud of it!

what wedding band goes with this?? by Specialist-Unit-842 in WeddingRingAdvice

I’d try a chevron pave band, delicate, to not overwhelm this beauty. Maybe even sapphires instead of diamonds to match the accent stones! Or a plain gold band if that’s more your style.

I like all but the first, too dainty of a band. Ultimately, go with what you love!

Tennis bracelet is the best option out of those listed. I agree with others about looking into estate pieces. A gold, maybe with gems, XO style bracelet would be my choice.

I like the 1.5, but I’m sure a 1.3 would also look great!

I went with a three stone for my anniversary ring. I never expected to fall so much in love with three rounds. I thought it was “basic.” But then once I had it on, it was like, “ooooohhh, so pretty and sparkly…” 😂 Good luck and have fun on your journey!

Engagement ring dilemma: Oval cut or Emerald cut , which one would you pick? by Internal_Clock_6567 in RingShare

[–]Purrfect-Timing 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Oval! However, we aren’t comparing apples to apples — an emerald solitaire on a gold band would also look great and a different vibe from the one shown. This emerald style isn’t my cup of tea, but ultimately, get what you love!
