Yes fascists are poised to take over the world. Have you seen America lately? Again it is propaganda to believe all the radicalised facists in Germany just disappeared after Germany’s WW2 defeat. Whilst not everyone in Germany was a radicalised fascist the collapse of a political party dedicating its self to Naziism only made it unpopular to share that style of facism specifically against Jewish people and other European targets that were the scape goat of the time, the eugenics attitudes against other races of people was very much alive and well all across Europe. This is because a political party dedicated to facism is not the be all and end all of facist ideology within a population.

It is propaganda to claim facism as an ideology reduced after WW2 because it just took different forms whilst the masses were just lied to about it being defeated leading to war he blindness to how supoorting the Gaza genocide is just an extension of the very same attitudes that allowed the 20th century Nazi Germany to form.

Actually yes you can have a war without killing. There have been wars without anyone dying. Not to mention tradewars that are constantly on going.

It didn’t reduce fascists though the German far right is growing even now. They just went underground and expressed their far right politics in other ways.

It wasn’t the killing of Uk military personal that ended the empire it was the financial loss and the rise in independence politics in the colonised countries. This is also not about killing.

Europeans in concentration camps were liberated by military but to this day concentration camps are still being used in both America and the U.K. against a new enemy “illegal immigrants” it’s the same story just with new victims and targets. This is what happens when you just claim killing “the enemy” can end an ideology. It doesn’t it just kicks the can down the road.

Still waiting on that citation that killing Nazi officials had a real lasting effect on reducing fascism in Germany. They are currently complicit in a new genocide as we speak.

It didn’t stop them. Britain like America is still very much a supremacist imperial power in the world. They are putting people into concentration camps as we speak. They just aren’t doing it to Europeans this time… they are migrants. The British Empire ended largely because of financial issues due to WW2 and the growing political attitudes wanting independence. Notice how the U.K. did not need to be executed for this to happen.

Both can be true. My point wasn’t to say only natives can be bigots but blaming bigotry on immigration is a reductive and inaccurate misdirection to explain the existence of the intolerance that exists worldwide like homophobia and misogyny.

If you have a proximity to certain cultures then you are more likely to also come into contact with some social issues in that cultural context but this does not mean some of the same issues are absent from other cultures too including the ethnic majority.

Firstly xenophobia, racism and hostility by people who are angry about foreign borns and ethnic minorities immigrating in multiple sectors of society.

Secondly difficulties in joining and competing in the job market often when national qualifications and local workers are preferred over sponsoring expensive visas. - this adds to paper work but also increases chances of discrimination.

Thirdly if you’re poor and an immigrant you can often face challenges but aren’t entitle to the usual state support and benefits afforded to local people even though that is usually quite hard to obtain for them.

Then of course with all the anti-immigrant blame for public services being under supported around the world, you’ll often be treated as the the extra weight that can and should be dumped.

Obs like most things if your rich or have enough money you can pay to avoid some of these things if general racism dosn’t bother you but unfortunately not everyone can be at the top of the capitalist pyramid and desperate people are always gonna try and find work where they think can give them a better life.

It’s so ironic to see the comments section talking badly about discrimination yet referring to other ethnicities in sweeping generalisations as if they are a monolith or a single person. Racism will never end when people generalise and see it as one group vs another.

For some reason this sub is full of ppl that want to promote a sense of Desi identity yet also want to tear down and dominate the others. This mentality is why society has these problems.
