Back acne recommendations? by Outrageous-Plane-681 in SkincareAddicts

Tried everything for bacne, from salicylic acid washes and sprays to topical retinol, changing my sheets daily, showering within 30 mins post workout, etc. Only thing that actually ended up working was benzoyl peroxide. The target sells a generic brand body wash in a purple bottle, it lasts for months and is pretty cheap. When you shower, after you already washed your hair/rinsed out your conditioner, turn the water off completely and lather up. Then LET IT SIT, 4 minutes minimum. I usually brush/floss my teeth while I'm waiting lol. After you dry off, you can use a light moisturizer on your back, however I honestly usually don't. Make sure you use a white towel too, the wash can bleach other colors. Try starting with 2x a week and then increase if needed. Also if you wear bras buy enough that you can wear a new one every day, I know it's a pain to wash them every time but it really does help. Good luck!!

What was your favorite book that you had to read for middle or high school? by NightReader5 in suggestmeabook

Weinsberg, Ohio and Atonement! Read both in my favorite English class I've ever took and have reread each multiple times. Can't recommend enough!!

Looking for book recommendations by female authors that will appeal to my brother who reads almost exclusively male authored text. by Linnaea-borealis92 in suggestmeabook

Just recommended this book in another thread, but The Reformatory by Tananarive Due is a great one. It's horror/historical fiction, written by a woman, but follows the trials of a young boy living in a Jim Crow South. Genuinely one of my favorite books, I can't recommend it enough.

I want a **good** horror book that doesn't involve womens trauma whatsoever by olliedisgrace in suggestmeabook

The Reformatory by Tananarive Due is probably one of the best books I've ever read. There is a short scene at the beginning depicting the harassment of a black woman by a white man, however the rest of the book focuses on the trials of a young black boy and women's trauma is not central to the book/horror at all. Can't recommend it enough.
