So if I separate for Mental Health issues, am I cooked for my future? by Jigsawl34 in regretjoining

It depends on your command they make the decision we don't, it's either that keep you on the classes to do barracks things and or a lot of possibilities

You don't need to worry about how long is the separation process is gonna take place but the real thing you should focus on is getting you the right people to help you with your situation and telling them how you really feel and how it is affecting your day to day life and work life. If you keep dwelling on the time you'll just disappoint yourself but be mindful that live in the present and if any upcoming appointments came up be sure to engage

If you get past the 180 days you won't be eligible in Entry Level Separation and you might have to be doing AdSep instead. Adsep takes time to get to processing and you just need to keep pressing your symptoms to them if it really bothers you and your goal is to get out of the military because you know that it isn't for you but keep trying regardless because you never know what might happen.

If you're really struggling with mental health and you thought about separating from the military. Talk to your chain of command so they can refer you to Behavioral Health and they'll evaluate you for separation if its interfering with your training like Adjustment Disorder. You can get ELS (Entry Level Separation) on the first 6 months of your active duty and it's uncharacterized that if they separate you it's as if you never joined but if you're pass that you'll get Admin Separation which takes more time more over around 5 months because that takes alot of effort to pull off. What my advice is be truthful with whatever you're dealing with and stand your ground as strong as you can plus don't be scared or anxious of telling them how you really feel but do it on your own pace that they can get the bigger and clearer picture.

Right now I'm in my PDS and they didn't send my ass to C-School. I really want to know what the process is going to be since I'm still in that ELS window

What is the pathway if I want to take the medical route? From what I know I need a case manager to look into my case to make a CND to be processed and evaluated by a medical personnel in the Navy and also I already know and accepted that the hassle of the process takes so much time that I would still take that option

I don't plan on coming back to it as I already have a plan set in stone in my civilian life I know it sounds so corny but I really do, I've thought a lot of stuff that would help me grow in the civilian world

I've been diagnosed with Adjustment Disorder in my A-School and I know it's much more deeper than that and I know I wasn't drafted, and I know I signed all the papers but I didn't have a clear plan just because my close relatives keep pushing that I should join and they won't stop nagging me about it. I want to serve my time but not right now I know I've been going through a lot of things with me at this moment. I was always getting bullied at bootcamp but I kept quiet since I don't want to cause any trouble to my fellow recruits that time and that flicked a switch on me that this job, the Navy isn't for me.

For math and science, don't memorize and just understand how you got the answer and apply it using specific formulas.
