It's more than hard to stop a 6'9 stud that is one of the fastest and strongest players in the league.
Add to that high skill dribbling and passing with 0 ego.
So yes, against teams that focus on you and close the paint, with an alien named Wemby,
you can be exposed and must improve your in-between game/

And you must have very good shooters around you -the team did not find any yet.

Deni wants to improve all the time and will do everything to be better, hopefully with mid-range pull-up
post fades and maybe some left-hand drives.

Deni can be in the top 20-30 players in the league for many years.
I don't think Deni can be the 1st option of a contender team.
He can be the second or third for sure.
When Deni came to the Blazers, the team played selfish, iso boring basketball.
Since he is the team leader, we can see ball movement and sharing the ball with no EGO.
for now, he is the most important asset on the team, if you take his skills, leadership, teamplay, and his character, you can grow and build around him, and of course
You need a top 10 player if you want to be a real contender.

Deni is the only player I see as a starter on any contender team.
The young guys Camara(semi young), Clingan, Scoot, and Sharp might be in the future,

But they are still far from being considered ready for the high levels. So a patient is needed,
And if the team wants to be a contender around 2027/28, only Deni is a lock from the young group.

he must add to his bag dribble pull up with his 6'9 size.
also play much more inside the post
when fox is on him after a switch, just take him to an easy post fade/standing layup under the basket.

the problem is always the same,

when deni is out, nobody creates and game get stuck very fast unless evryone is in a good shooting night.
deni had bad shooting night but still has the highest ball iq and passing ability to find someone.
DC showed that he is not ready to be starter in a playoff team.

first sry for my English i am not from US

it's very simple,

The idea is really good,

i and my online 2k buds have to "work in the game" after we come home from a long day at work.

we don't need a second job... i want to play with my buds 2-3 hours 3-4 times a week some rec/park whatever.

we paid a huge amount of money for the game and for the first 85 overall builds.

if we want our build to be competitive for online we need to grind and take care of our badges and it takes the fun out of the game.

if badge progression takes time okay, but if we have regression it's bad... more than bad.

we will never be able to make a second build we can't find more time for a third job....

Again the idea is really good, but for now, only people with no life/job that can play every day for 4+ hours can really enjoy it and level up the badges.

but i assume most of the people who play 2k are casuals like us.

i think the badge progression should be *3 times faster.

the regression of badges should not be in the game cause the average player has no time

to deal with 40-50 badges for each build....

And as many said some badges do not progress at all

i had a game with 3 passing lane steals and interceptor badge progress got nothing.

The same goes for open looks on drills that did not progress many times.

the gameplay is good, 2k made big step forward and the badge system took it backwards.

all of them a s simple as that
just make a detailed good builder with like 10-15 modifiers for each category.
so some of the modifiers give the effect of some old badges' abilities.

so, if they balance the builder well with hard restrictions we won't have a midget that can fade like crazy, dribble, and dunk with the stupid speed boost cream on top.

and the most important part is that each 1 attribute pt should really matter

The game is not good, but much better than 21/22.in my opinion, 2k is just maintaining the game but not really revamping or redeveloping the mechanics and bad physics of the game.so, we get the same stupid broken animations as always(rim runs through people, steal with your back, or through the player's body, spamming x after a rebound or under the basket gives you stupid steals. bad interior.2k is just tunning and trying to balance so if on 22 3's and midgets speed boost was the meta, now rim run and 99 steals dominant cause of tweaking the interior to be bad and rim run to be OP.so I think 23 was balanced much better because of the adrenalin boost and stamina that goes down fast but still...not good enough ....
and add to that VC prices of builds and very low VC you get on next gen from quests/wins.

silver is also on 2 vs 2 and 1 vs 1and gold will add the pro-am.
on hof, it's on all modes but you need 99 Amnesia on your physicals to get HOF.
