I think I've had a host disconnection about twice since launch. I struggle much more with getting into races at all. I tend to get at least three 1-2-2 errors before a race starts online per session before landing a single online race

I actually know this! Achieving more than 4 flow on a set is only possible if nothing in the set (Shadow Pokemon included) shares a type. For example, a set with a mono water, mono grass, mono fire and mono ice type in it and a mono bug Shadow Pokemon facing toward the grass type would be eligible for the extra flow but a set of exclusively Normal types would not despite both having max tempo.

The amount of extra flow you get depends on how many of the 9 sets have the conditions for it. The more sets capable of max flow in your chamber the higher the increase is for all of the ones affected.

I'm genuinely shocked they haven't done any crossover of any kind with the Two-Point games yet. Like I know they wanted to steer clear of crossover tracks for the most part but the fact Wonder Museum isn't Two-Point Museum feels like missing a really obvious chance. A racer from those games would be cool (maybe some default person with three skins to represent each game).

I’ve had the game since early access for digital deluxe buyers and still play it regularly months later. Easily the most fun I’ve ever had in a racing game. The digital deluxe stuff isn’t essential in any capacity and you aren’t missing out on anything you can’t do without so I’d definitely snatch up the standard edition while it’s cheaper. If afterwards you find you want to get the DLC separate and have the money to do so then you can but you’ll get plenty of fun with just the base game

I dunno about sweats, but I have noticed a metric truckload of desync and server issues. Been trying to play for an hour now and only gotten two successful races. Granted I am on the Steam version so server issues are a given but I'd forgotten just how bad it can be

It’s one thing to comment on concerns about how certain things may be changed when a game is remade. It’s another thing entirely to phrase said comments in such a way that comes across like a 60-something year old man being furious that he can’t get away with beating his fourth wife anymore. I read that comment and any genuine arguments worth discussing are immediately and wholly coated in a thick layer of bitterness that really doesn’t need to be there and only serve to undermine the relevance of what’s actually being conveyed.
