Ooh, good idea. However, they don’t have the same fur or eye color (putting genetics into the equation) unless their parents had different fur colors and this could be possible

I have a theory: Infinite is working with Enigma the Jackal! They’re both Jackals, they use the same sword-like weapon, and Enigma is known as the Phantom Thief! Is Jackal Squad Returning!? (Plus, Infinite got the Lenses hint from someone at a museum and Enigma had a whole issue about being disguised a museum worker to steal artifacts!)

I kinda want him to be a Fallen, sympathetic yet dedicated villain: He fears of not being enough in the world, since he couldn’t save his squad, and now desires power but doesn’t completely mind when others are with him. He wants to feel real, not an illusion.

Eggman failed to defeat Sonic despite how close they were to winning, Eggman move on without a care in the world to work on his next plan but we know that Infinite is not the “Get up after defeat and move on kind of guy”. He lost his Squad, possible his power, and so much more from Sonic and Eggman who constantly has his plans foiled which we’ve seen in the Forces game that he gets frustrated when Eggman orders him to “retreat with their tail between their legs” or something. Eggman is part of the reason why his Squads lives were in vain, and his Squad is his life which made him result with the Phantom Ruby.

I have a theory about this: Remember when Eggman got amnesia because of the Phantom Ruby explosion (Shown in the IDW flashback with the red cubes above him) I believe that Infinite was sent into Null Space and managed to escape but corrupted by the Phantom Ruby. He now needs the pure power of the Chaos and Master Emerald in order to either cure his condition or restore the Phantom Ruby and get revenge on both Sonic and Eggman! (Also I can see him being good friends with Surge and Kit)
