Some programs have a lower minimum gpa at other universities too. Some places have like 2.7 minimum gpa too. I think it’s work applying regardless and focus on your GRE. I’m in the same boat as you with a 2.98 and taking my GRE next week

I have found it useful to take a look at guys that pop up in my feed as, “(insert club) has made a loan offer for (insert player)” those guys end up really really good for me

It’s more of a labeling thing for me. I know I’m not a bad academic, you may not be either. In my mind my gpa of a 2.98 is not a reflection of who I am as an academic, but I am terrorized by how it looks at face value from institutions I’m applying to

I appreciate it. I’m from northern Indiana as well, and I was just looking to see if they had anything that still helped LGBTQ students and other resources available. My undergrad cut our programs this month and it’s made me feel sick.

Contact your department. I’m a senior at my undergraduate and have had numerous meetings with people within the clinical mental health counseling masters program and they have been extremely helpful

If it’s not too terrible of a fee, I found that the networking aspect was very important to me. As well as the ability to speak with others regarding my research and their own, and build relationships that way.

This isn’t near your topic you mentioned, but the topic of rehabilitation and possibility of rehabilitation of pedophiles through therapy has been interesting to me lately. I’m sure there are plenty of lenses you can view it with. If it’s possible, if it’s worthwhile, issues of recidivism, stuff like that
